The springs are already very hard, making it unsuitable for beginners
I bought this product to strengthen my fingers for playing the electric guitar where I need to do a lot of string bending (for instance to be able to execute the 2/2.5 whole step bends in the lead guitar part of the song Another Brick in the Wall). The springs are quite stiff and I found it very hard to even begin pressing the springs. The forefinger and the middle finger do get to be able to compress the springs half way but the index and little finger hardly get to compress the springs. Unless you can start at a quarter or less (easy level), you can never reach the full level. Hence, I didn't find this very useful. If only there was a way to adjust the spring tension, starting with easy and progressing to hard. This is meant for people who are already quite strong and want to strengthen even further (for people who already have very strong fingers). How I wish this was designed differently, with the first two springs being stiff (intended for the index finger and middle finger) and the last two being less stiff (allowing for the weaker ring finger and little finger to progressively develop strength).

No finger movements strok patient
I am (32yr)a stroke patients(2Yrsold) with almost zero voluntarily movements in my left hand fingers ( nondiminent) I though I can do self exercise without anyone's support but in my case I found its not easy to use for me it's not fisible for me to do exercis with it with maintaining proper grip on it I am looking for a instrument or tool by which I can do exercise of my fingers which help me to develop the capacity to use my fingers like in holding and unholding any objects like mobile or glass or any thing i have no movements in my fingers.i can only close my fingers but can't open voluntarily. If any body can suggest then please suggest.
