My cat had surgery on his ear and it was my job to keep his ear clean. Having worked in the NHS I knew what I needed and these JMU 6 inch sterile cotton tipped applicators were the perfect choice. I was hesitant about the wooden shaft being too brittle but I shouldnโt have worried as they are strong and the tips are well wrapped, they are sterile too. Buy in confidence.

I ordered this item so I can clean any dirt from my eyes after my cataract surgery since one of instructions is no rubbing your eyes for 4 weeks and my eyelashes do get dirt around them so I use the sterile cotton swabs

Although it was expensive it was useful for wound cleaning in small tight spaces. I used these to clean / apply ointment on a wound on my mumโs ear. It was essential for them to be sterile which these were.
