I got this because it looked easy to clean and I have a husband who is extremely messy with anything he does so it was a very important feature for me. It delivered. Not only does the front where the food is kept come completely away from the back where the element and the fan are, but you can even get in there and do things like take the tray rails out of you need to. The size is pretty substantial, it's not something I can keep out on the counter all the time but it does fit fine on the counter to run and then put back away. It fits a lot for the size and the motor (or its "working voice" as it says in the manual) is much more quiet than I thought it would be. I've used it with vegetables and flowers and both of the preset options did a thorough job. I was particularly pleased with how green vegetables (leek leaves) retained there nice green color. Some things I have noticed: the fan can flutter around more delicate items as they become very dry, so be sure to check the bottom as well as other trays if you're doing something like flowers. The silicone mesh works fabulous, but I did notice that the yellow pollen from a batch of dandelions I dried stained it so that might happen. The manual is... Interesting. The included recipes are a bit of a hoot, some of them are quite ingenious (like the cookies) but then there are some recipes that I think MUST be treats for dogs, but nowhere does it explicitly state such. So like, investigate those with discernment. Overall I'm really pleased with it and I hope it lasts a long time.

Awesome Machine does Great job!

This thing is great we love to dehydrate fruits and veggies in the summer to store for winter and for snacks for the grandkids and this works great we also have made some jerky with it it’s the best thing we have ever used. So easy to clean. Not noisey at all. You barely smell it while it’s working. Best money I’ve spent. So versitile you can make about anything in it. It has a large capacity so you go a lot at once! Love the book with it also can’t wait to try out some of the recipes inside.

Very well made and works great for the price.

I have just received this dehydrator and have not used it. But my initial opinion is that it is not as described. The trays are 11⅜" not 11½. I know it isn't much of a difference but if you're purchasing this based on those dimensions then you will be disappointed. I will update when I have a chance to check it's performance. Update* I have ran my dehydrator for 14 hours. The fan makes more noise than I think it should and when it kicks in higher it vibrates and makes a rattle that is quite loud. It isn't the fan it's self I think, it seems to be because there isn't much support on the back panel. It mostly maintained the temperature but is 3-7° lower than it is set. Also on the topic of temperature it is only adjustable in incriminates of 9 🤔 which is very odd to me. Not sure of the purpose of this but it's inconvenient in my opinion. I would not recommend this product. This is the second one I have bought in one week and they both have serious flaws.

This dehydrater is great cooks perfect and is very well made! Very easy to clean too. Other I have purchased had a lot of plastic and thru the years crumbled! This on is all stainless steel and will last for a lifetime
