Diamond Art 4オンス フリースタイル接着剤

This adhesive is great for diamond painting. I have only used it on coated cardboard so can’t speak to how it works with other surfaces, but it says it works on fabric, wood, metal, and glass. Just make sure you read the instructions. It says to apply a THICK coating and wait for it to turn clear before covering or applying the drills. I, of course, first applied a very thin, mostly clear layer, and immediately started trying to apply the drills. First the gems were sliding all over because it wasn’t dry, and then they wouldn’t stick because I didn’t use enough. What I didn’t realize was that when it “dries” it is at it’s max stickiness, so you don’t have to worry about rushing to get your drills on before it dries like regular glue. I ended up scraping everything off and starting again. Once I actually did it correctly it worked great! When I finished the project it was 24+ hours after applying and it didn’t lose any stickiness. Pictures show glue when it’s applied properly and perfectly clear once it’s dry. Even though you have to apply it thickly, the adhesive itself is thin and spreads easily so you get a lot of value for the 4oz size of the bottle. I definitely recommend over other adhesives. I tried using Bearly Art Craft Glue as well as Gem-Tac, and this is way better if you’re doing a large area. There is no residue on the gems after. I will continue using the others if I have to reapply any gems or add to a small space, but otherwise Dotz Stick is my top choice.

Very thankful to have found this product! I am working on a large 16x20" diamond painting and it has several random bald spots where there's literally no adhesive or else very little adhesive in areas. This product works perfectly to repair the areas with deficient adhesive. Just make sure it's dried for a few minutes after it turns from white to clear, then it will behave as expected. The product is easy to use, I just brush it on with a small paint brush and wait until it dries clear. I would recommend having a dedicated paint brush for this product, because it leaves a bit of residue on the brush after washing it out. The product brushes on thinner than typical school glue, so I would recommend using a soft paintbrush (like a water color brush). This product seems to be a good value for the price. It's a good sized bottle. The bottle is a bit larger than the most common size for craft paint for reference, and in that same style bottle. It dries perfectly clear.
