Only have had the boat about a month now. Have used it about 10 times. Thing is holding up well an a lot of fun. 10/08/2023 Update. Still riding boat. This thing is the Bees Knees. About 180 hours on it now. Have got it up to 30mph. Holding up well. Easy to keep clean with a Magic Eraser. 6/29/2025. Boat has about 250 hours on it now. Paired with a Su,uki 20 hp engine this thing is a blast. Takes all afternoon to run. 2 gallons of gas thru the boat.

I did a lot of research including going to boat shows trying different dingy’s. I purchased the White Marlin inflatable floor 9’8” and just started using it. I use it as my tender for a larger boat. It handles well with my 8 HP motor and did 13 kts on smooth waters. Since I use it in hotter weather, white is extremely important as it reflects the heat and is comfortable to sit on. Most other brands are gray and are hot to the touch. The under the seat bag is terrific and holds a lot of items while keeping them dry. I will use the Marlin this summer for spear fishing and island hopping in the Bahamas.

An excellent quality boat at 70 Lbs. with welded seams, 20 plus mph. with a 15 hp motor and 2 adults. Wish it came with the optional floor pad which is a must have to protect the inflatable floor. I've had around 10 inflatable boats over the years including Zodiac, Saturn and Aqua Max and am very happy with this purchase! The light weight of the boat with the 15 hp rating was the deciding factor.

My dingy travels on my swim platform and picks up some diesel exhaust residue and white color gets soils very quickly and I have not found a PVC cleaner that will clean it up. Not happy with the PVC finish not being able to clean up. After 1 yr dingy looks terrible. Also bad design on drain valve. Drains very slow and clogs very easily so takes forever to drain.

The boat looks great, is high quality and I love the air floor. I will be putting a 5hp motor on it.

We bought our boat back in Spring 2024, used it most of last summer and put it back in the water recently, so have gone through the whole process of inflating, using, deflating and storing. I would strongly suggest that you get an electric pump which has a cut off at 8PSI - makes maintaining optimal inflation a breeze. We also splurged on a LiOn battery which gives us great range and avoids the gradual drop off in power as the battery discharges. Overall - we have a lot of fun with this boat and it's safe for the kids to dock without worrying about damaging the boat or the dock. We have owned other boats before (24 feet with inboard etc) and the lack of maintenance and cost with this one fits our lifestyle at this point.

I wanted an inflatable floor dinghy for my Odyssey 409 to get around when needed but not to leave inflated year round. I have been researching boats for about a year and contacted Inflatable Sport Boats about a bigger air floor model than the dolphin 8.8'. I purchased the white marlin 9.8 as soon as they released it and it's the perfect size for my needs. Easy set, literally unroll and inflate. The air floor seems very stable while using it in the ocean. My plan was to take the boat down often and store it, but we used it so much that I have been just leaving it up and towing it behind my sail boat. It has held up wonderfully, never needing to be re-inflated or topped off. I plan on buying inflatable sport boat's EVA foam teak flooring to install over my air floor for some added comfort in the next year or so. Great customer service from this company, they walked me through my needs and kept me updated regularly.
