Must have for wireless mouse. It worked great for about 5 months then I get an error/failed usb message. I moved the mouse to a different computer to verify mouse or docking station failure and mouse worked fine so there is no warranty past 30 days, Suggest you look elsewhere = BUYER BEWARE

I bought my Surface Pro 8 to be an enhancement to my daily life. Being able to watch video, take trainings online, check and draft emails, share my work with colleagues, all from a slim and small form factor is great. This item adds functionality that I find important to completing my tasks with ease. Need to share a PowerPoint to a TV via HDMI… done. Need to use USB B or C to store documents on a flash drive… done. Need to to perform CRUD operations on items stored on external SD cards and devices.. done. This item is a must have if you are using the MS Surface Pro line!

Worked GREAT for somewhere between 1-3 months. Left it plugged into my Surface Pro 8 for probably that amount of time. Total plug-unplug cycles was probably at MOST 50. I'm thinking it was only closer to 30 or less though.Was great after first getting it, plugging it in and leaving it on a desk with a monitor over the summer when I was not working (teacher). Power passthrough worked fine, HDMI looked good, USB devices worked fine. After the work-year started for me though and I started taking the thing with me sometimes, unplugging and plugging it back in? Bam. Intermittent issues, down to basic uselessness. Now (see video), a flash drive won't mount through it at all. If you wiggle it, it makes the Windows ding sound of a device being plugged/unplugged. Real shame. I thought with the two USB C plugs, it have more strength, but I think the real thing with USB C is because it's so thin, you just need a flexible connection. Sticking with "dongles" from now on.

The station worked well for 6 weeks and then just quit. After a lot of help from the seller the issues were resolved and I am happy with the product

The only interesting thing is that for it to fit snugly into the USB-C ports on the side of the SP9 screen, I needed to install it “upside down”, meaning the labels for the ports were now facing away from the scree . Not a big deal, just a curiosity. Functionakity is perfect.

You can’t use this with the protective case installed

I took it out of the box an hour after delivery. Very easy to insert Docking Station.Immediately, inserted my headphones in Audio jack and computer desk light in a USB port. Total setup-to-use less than a minute.Now, listening to music while desk light charges.Totally compatible with Surface Pro 9. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

Mucho mejor de lo esperado. El acoplamiento no solo no presenta ningún problema, es tremendamente sencillo. Tiene todo lo que puedas esperar y al menos por ahora todo funciona, lo que verdaderamente es una grata sorpresa es el puerto para el Jack de 3,5, algo que prácticamente ya no existe, afortunadamente no es el caso aquí.La posibilidad de admitir tarjeta SD directamente o con adaptador te proporciona dos "discos" a lo que hay que añadir la posibilidad del resto de puertos, uno de ellos 3.0, que funciona como se espera.La clavija RJ45 para la conexión Ethernet y el HDMI en 4K como elementos multimedia hacen que sea sumamente aprovechable. Añado que el tamaño es "ridículo", con lo que tiene de positivo, no pesa y no ocupa. Y ya por último el precio, no llega a 50€.Por ahora tengo la sensación de haber acertado plenamente con la compra, por supuesto que lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda. Si en el transcurso del tiempo hubiese alguna incidencia o no funcionara editaré la reseña, entre tanto, encantado.

As described, all ports works well. Great fit for Surface Pro 8. I got the black one to match my laptop but its available as well in silver color.

A very handy little gadget. I use it for my wireless mouse and a monitor. Have also used the card reader. All works well. Would recommend.
