My son wears hearing aids with a silicone ear piece and tubes to the device behind the ear. He has a lot of ear wax that can clog up the parts and also sometimes will get moisture that forms on the inside of the tube when he’s active in the summer. The audiologist recommended these. We always keep these around at home or when traveling to quickly clear any clogs or moisture. The stiff waxed ends make it easy to quickly thread through small holes and the fluffy material on the string usually gets everything cleaned in one pass. Buying a pack of several boxes is a great value for the money and will last us for a while!

Absolutley best way to clean the vent on in ear hearing aids. They are reusable for a good bit of cleanings. So for the price you can't beat the simplicity and effectiveness.

I got one of these from my mom's audiologist after paying $5000 Plus for her hearing aid. Order them on line. One lasted for a while but when we requested additional cleaning supplies the front desk was not very customer friendly so I went on line to shop for the things I needed to clean Mom's hearing aid. I can't say enough about the products I purchase especially this little cleaning kit. These will last a while and I am going to share them because we got so many for the price. These are a stroke of genius. I can thoroughly clean the vent tubes in my RIC hearing aid molds by inserting the stiff thread on the end of the cleaner and pulling it through. Also works for those hearing aids that have the receiver in the hearing aid itself. Long enough to pass through the tiny hollow tubes and gives them a cleaning that was pretty well impossible before I found these.
