The product is described as "Blend of silk, fine viscose and acrylic".** A: I have 2 of these exact scarves. they're called the lakeshore bliss scarf on the wrapunzel website, if you go there it states the dark brown is 70% pashmina 30%silk and all other colors are acrylic/viscose **Q: Pashmina is a type of wool. This contains no wool??** A: No wool. It’s mis-named. But still, a very nice product. Looks and feels refined. **Q: Is it good for summer?** A: I had this product for years and wore it all the time, any weather, and any occasion! My past tense speech is by no means their fault, I had to abandon all my items from a bedbug infestation. I’m SO glad I found this again! **Q: does it pill or shed** A: I haven't washed it yet but it doesn't shed nor does colors transfer.
