The size of the bar is 1.76oz. and 1.5" x 3" in size, which is quite a bit smaller than the ones sold in drug stores or health food stores. The 19g of protein is great, and so is the low 3g of sugar. As a diabetic, i was a bit concerned about the 50grams of carbs, but it did not effect my blood sugars after a while. Overall, its still a great buy if you can get them at about a buck a piece. In the box, there are 6 bars **Q: Why is this cheaper at Walmart?** A: I’ve purchased products from a lot of places. Some stores have different items that they specialize in. The manufacturer gives them a better deal. I’ve found that if you subscribe to Amazon it’s the cheaper price. I will go look at Walmart, I didn’t know they sold these bars. Costco doesn’t sell them, I never saw them anywhere else. **Q: How many bars per order of $13.88?** A: 6, I think. But Amazon did not package well. All were semi-melted and swished. **Q: Can anyone roughly tell me the shelf life of these?** A: I would say easily six months, probably longer. They are sealed well in wrappers with a foil-like inside. As long as the packaging hasn't been punctured, you could get a long shelf live.
