Small Footprint
This is a great alternative to the main brand single cup coffee maker. It is sturdy, well designed and makes a great cup of coffee. It is more compact than most machines, therefore, takes up less room on your counter. Still does the job though. Actually, it's easier than my last machine. One less button to push. Just as fast to brew. The true test will be its longevity. My last main brand machine lasted 2 1/2 years of heavy use (4-5 cups a day). With proper cleaning, I have a feeling this one will equal if not surpass that mark. Oh, should mention too.....it costs half the price!!

The best reliable one cup coffee appliance.
This is the best little coffee pot I have ever owned. Quick and easy. I had owned several small Keurigs in the past and had problems with every one of them. This is all I will buy from now on.

Nice single cup coffee maker
This is the very first single cup coffee maker I have ever owned. I've always used the 3 minute Bunn. However, my schedule has changed to where I make less coffee at home, in large quantities.. So I started reading reviews, like everyone does, on which unit to buy.. I didn't want to spend the money on the expensive models, and yet I didn't want something with a life of 1 month...I decided to give this model a try.. It was very straight forward to operate ( I'd never used one before ) . There are quick instructions on the lid, and it also comes with a paper manual.. I have used a few different K cups without any issues. You basically put in your K cup of your choice, fill it with water ( about a cup), and push the button.. The unit heats the water and automatically dispenses the coffee once it's ready to do so.. Then shuts off automatically.. I've been using it pretty much every day for two months with zero issues.. For $40.00 i am very happy with my purchase.. I hope i get many years of use out of it. The one thing you need to do, that sounds obvious, is to remember to put a cup under the unit before you start each time.. I forgot one of the first times and ended up with coffee all over my kitchen island.. Totally my fault and no reflection on the product... I did run white vinegar thru the unit prior to using it.. I did not experience any "plastic" taste as some other reviewers have stated.. I think it's a good idea to do it prior to using... I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a low cost one cup machine. UPDATE: July 21, 2019 - coffee maker is still going strong, after being used every day for approximately 9 months. Makes good coffee. Easy to use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a low priced 1 cup machine. UPDATE - Feb 2021 and it is still going strong !

Surprisingly good inexpensive K-cup brewer - great 'satellite' for a big espresso machine
My primary coffeemaker is a $1000+ fully-automatic Jura-Capresso espresso machine, which just makes the absolute best espresso coffees from fresh-ground whole beans and high-pressure steam. So why would I want a super-inexpensive K-cup machine like this? Several reasons. Topmost is variety: as awesome as the Jura-Capresso is, it's only really good for one kind of bean at a time, because you can't really swap out whatever beans you have loaded in the bin. Sure you could grind beans separately and manually load the grounds into the top chute, but for just an occasional decaf or flavored coffee, it's hard to beat the convenience and varity of K-cups. Plus, you can even get non-coffee drinks like teas and apple ciders in K-cups now. Another reason to like this unit is speed. While a full-auto espresso machine takes a lot of the work out of making a latte, you still need to froth the milk, then make a couple of espresso shots. With this little beauty you just fill the tank, pop in a pod, press the button, and wait a couple minutes. After you press that button, you can be doing something else, unlike with the espresso machine where you have to stand there and tend to it. Another reason is guests. They want coffee, but may not want to learn how to operate the espresso machine. But everybody knows how to make a K-cup! Doesn't get much simpler. The espresso machine is still my primary source of coffee, but it's pretty big - bigger than a car battery. So this unit is a perfect little satellite coffee machine that gives me a K-cup option without taking up nearly any countertop real estate. Yeah, I've got a few gripes. This thing is geared to make 12 oz of coffee into a 12 oz mug and that's about it (OK, so just make two cups of coffee then). Also, the temperature is just barely high enough for a good coffee and it could be hotter. But you know what? It's a lot easier to accept these kinds of limitations when you didn't even spend $40 on your 'satellite' coffeemaker! One final piece of advice I haven't seen anyone else mention: If you don't want the heating element to build up with mineral deposits and require occasional de-scaling, do the same thing I do with my espresso machine and use only distilled water. All the flavor comes from your coffee grind anyway, but distilled water is so pure it leaves no scale.

Small cup only Relaible K-cup coffee maker
This has been a good replacement for my earlier at-work K-cup machine. It's reliable, doesn't leak, works pretty fast, and small in size. Cons; Will only make a small cup of coffee and fit small mugs. So a taller insulated mug won't work. Otherwise it's good.
