CATAN Explorers & Pirates Board Game Expansion (6th Edition) Embark on New Adventures, Strategy Game for Kids & Adults, Ages 12+, 3-4 Players, 90 Minute Playtime, Made by Catan Studio

Es una buena expansión, solo que debes estar acostumbrado a turnos de mediana a larga duración. Buena calidad. El embalaje del producto fue esmerado.

Our favorite expansion

Overall the game is great, but there was very disappointing absence of some parts. There was only 8 white crew instead of 9, and 1 fish figure was half. For this price they must recheck everything. Because of this I'm putting 4 stars.

Bought this about a month ago and now opening it for the first time. Upon opening and looking at the instructions, this game is missing the card trays that are supposed to come with it. Very much looking forward to playing this game but disappointed that there are missing pieces in what is supposed to be a brand new game.

It did NOT come with a card rack, and there's no way to organize the items well. The box also came in with a punctured hole in the top.

Box is dented in a ton of spots, sliced down the center, and has a UPC sticker plastered to the front. Opened up the box and everything is covered in a layer of dust and looks used almost. There’s even a few sticky spots which is mildly gross at best. It wasn’t even sealed shut upon arrival like you might expect. Will likely return which is unfortunate considering the price tag on this game.

this was packaged incorrectly. the cards that you punch all of the pieces out of are numbered 1-11. I got 2 number 8s and no number 9

The expansion introduces a lot of different variations. Very good for expanding the game and allows slowly applying the extra bits. Really recommend.

We came to Catan quite late, well the last 6 months, so 32 years post launch when every add-on to the 'base game' has trended and become hard to find. So we bought up, and now have x4 'Expansions' to the Catan base game: Cities & Knights; Seafarers; Traders & Barbarians; and this 'ere Explorers & Pirates [E&P]; plus x3 'Scenarios' to the Expansions: Treasures, Dragons & Adventurers; Legend of the Sea Robbers; and, Legend of the Conquerors (that's x1 base game and x7 add-ons!). Although a weightier price tag, unlike some other add-ons mentioned who's boxes are a tad light on, this one is justified as E&P's box is so jam packed with additional stuff that the box insert itself comes flat packed! We daren't total what we've spent atop the USD55 base game but, having done the hard-yards research for you, this review can save you a packet by just purchasing THIS one. The main reason is care of E&P mitigating Catan's m.o. of being overly luck-of-the-draw for those starting last (you've more chance of victory by losing the toss at Test Cricket) by: 1. being richly compensated for having fewer red #6 or #8 resource hexes; and, 2. switching-out that ruddy awful Robber (Monopoly's Jail is a holiday camp) for less sadistic Pirate Ships. E&P's designers even carried forward the feature whereby Crew act like Knights to defeat Pirate Lairs. You're welcome!

Great expansion, box in great condition fully sealed and was complete.
