A terrific black tea. As far as I can tell, it's the same my grandma used, minus the foreign writing on the box. I actually blend this 1/2 with Earl Grey and it makes a fantastic pitcher of tea. A nice big box means you won't run out too soon. It also reduces the cost over using bagged tea. Great stuff, it is on my subscription list, and it will probably never come off....unless it disappears....

The tea is processed differently than tea intended for the American market. The leaves are chopped up more finely, and are closer to what is found in a tea bag. This affects the brewing of the tea. It brews faster, and there is a slightly different flavor. The huge boxes it comes in also contain way too much tea to fit into a normal American tea canister, which typically only hold about a half-pound.

This tastes nothing like Lipton tea. I don’t know what this was but it’s not tea! The bags allowed the tea leaves to filter through into the tea. I also was not thrilled to read on the box that it was made in India. If I wanted tea from India I would have looked for authentic Indian tea.

For anyone that is confusing, Lipton, yellow tea with the regular US Lipton brand, will definitely find themselves quite mistaken! This tea has a very high-quality taste to it and I’m sure the people in India would not put up with what in America passes for tea Another complaint that I have seen, is that this tea is somehow processed, and that is indeed true. The tea actually looks like little super tiny B-Bs, but I assure you it doesn’t seem to have harmed the actual taste of the tea itself. All of the high notes are still there without any kind of strange processed taste. And I am very familiar, with what either age or over processing of a tea does to it. This tea is a very strong and robust tea without any excessive astringency or tanin-taste. So definitely use very little, and steep it for a short period of time. I have bought this tea several times as I consume a lot of it! I think you’ll be very happy with it!

This is leaf tea but it has been processed into a crude granule form for Indian / South Asian style chai or teas with milk drinks. It is not that great for making American style iced tea or English tea. However, it's not bad when made properly. Tetley's version is better.

Very nice tea

L'ho acquistato perché lo bevo durante la colazione. È un buon tè, il sapore è buono, io aggiungo sempre una fettina di limone e un cucchiaino di zucchero. Il prezzo è davvero competitivo, è inferiore rispetto ai supermercati. La scatola contiene 100 filtri in bustina. Le bustine hanno dei messaggi diversi scritti in inglese e francese. Lo consiglio per chi non ha grandissime pretese, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, spedizione puntualissima come sempre!

Lo compro para un familiar, al quien le cuesta encontrar esta marca en algunos supermercados y estoy contenta. El envío siempre llega un día antes de lo esperado y bien empaquetado.

De thee op zich is goed maar het spijtige is dat de theezakjes niet individueel zijn verpakt. De bezorging verliep wel zeer goed.
