I absolutely love mine. I have been wanting 1 for years since I have a bit of a hot cocoa addiction lol. It works amazingly well and cleans easily. I'm really picky about hot chocolate and this makes it perfect with just the right amount of froth. It's also gorgeous enough to leave on my counter.

I LOVE the Velvetiser! It works as described and makes a single serving of cold or hot chocolate milk. If temperature is a concern for hot chocolate, transfer immediately into a insulated mug like a Yeti. I don't like scalded milk and the Velvetiser warms the milk to the perfect temperature. The included ceramic and glass pods for drinking are useless and I tossed them in the trash. The regular chocolate samples are OK, but the flavored samples taste artificial and they are too expensive. I immediately switched to using semi-sweet chocolate chips pulverized in a food processor. I tried hot cocoa powders, but they have a tendency to leave a gritty residue at the bottom of your drink. If you want to make a truly decadent drink, substitute whole milk for a bit of half and half or heavy cream. I hate kitchen appliances that are one-trick ponies, but this is a pretty cool product. I'm a bit of a chocolate milk junkie, so I will put the Velvetiser to regular use.

Kids love making gourmet hot chocolate in this easy to use machine. You can use their brand of coa coa or your own packets from your local grocery store. Clean up is a breeze.

I purchased this Velvetiser because of its reviews. It looks like a solid build and the chocolate kit is good quality. Unfortunately for me, the Velvetiser unit is stained. I tried gentle soap, warm water, warm towel, microfiber towel, and unfortunately nothing works. The stain won't go away no matter what I do. Shame! Another problem is I think I got a defective unit because every time I try making hot drink, half of the chocolate nibs are always there (lid on of course). They never completely dissolve with this unit even after the unit turns off on its own and I wait for an additional minute before serving. I really want to love this unit but I just can't considering these problems. I can't return the unit because shipping cost is almost the same as the value I paid for the system. To add insult to injury, out of excitement I also spent another $170 buying all of their chocolate variations. Now I don't have a reliable unit to taste all these delicious drinks. Bummer!

I have only used this for hot chocolate but I love it much better than the original velvetisser because it actually makes the chocolate hotter. It’s a breeze to clean and it just looks nice. It makes the chocolate nice and creamy. The on and off switch is easy to use and it is very quiet. It makes the perfect size cup. It may be a little costly but for me the taste and ease make it worth the price.

Worked great first time. Chocolate wasn’t steaming hot and didn’t have to wait too long to drink. Smooth and creamy taste and easy to clean afterwards. The stirrer inside holds to the bottom with a magnet so it was easy to remove and clean and the inside surface was accessible to wipe down. Might be a little over priced for what it does and haven’t figured out if I always need to purchase the chocolate packets from them because they’re also pricey but really good tasting.

When it works it’s absolutely amazing. So like 63% of the time you get the best hot chocolate ever. But the 37% of the time it doesn’t work? You lose a packet of expensive hot cocoa and have to clean out burnt milk from the bottom. It has this magnetize spinner and it seems to just randomly decide it just does not want to spin and locks. I’ve had other milk frothers and never had a problem before.

Bought this in deepest darkest second lockdown or something along these lines. It had been a while since I had bought a hot chocolate from the Hotel Chocolate bricks and mortar shop (close to the office), and my thinking up to that point had been, no way am I spending around £100 on a dedicated hot chocolate kettle when a pan and whisk will almost do the same job. But then I gave in and yeah it does a way better job than pan and whisk. Easy to clean (so long as you do it pretty soon after), smooth texture, perfect temperature, fast results. The only problem is that if you are wanting to make hot chocolate for .. lets say 3 people you have to do it one serving at a time, and that means the first person will either have no hot chocolate or almost completely cool chocolate by the time the last person is able to drink theirs. The instructions say that you can use whatever milk you want or even spring water. So you can use almond milk with the hazelnut sachet if you want something a bit nuts, or you can use bottled water and 70% cocoa if despite buying this gadget you are adverse to feeling joy. There is also a min and max fill line. I assume the min fill line is for if you want the rest of the drink to be coffee, that's how I used it but I don't recall it being said in instructions. Ultimately this gadget didn't get used twice then tidied into a cupboard and mostly forgotten about like certain other kitchen gadgets. I have actually used it almost as much as the toaster since I got it, but I don't buy that much bread. I do still kind of feel like it is an expensive single use gadget, but it is a treat and remains a treat.

I love this thing. I literally use it for Matcha hot chocolate, even turning powdered milk into liquid milk and I know I can use it for many more things. I can see myself using it for protein shakes for tea. Basically any powdered drink I want.
