This soap dispenser was pricier than most. When I got it, I understood why. It is heavy gauge stainless steel, with almost die cut precision angles. This is architectural quality design and manufacture. I have not installed it yet. However, it is not a faucet and easy to check functionally. The pump works smoothly, bottle below counter surface seems very strong plastic, and everything above counter is steel. The lines are crisp and elegant. It is heavy. It is polished to a matte shine. I am really happy with it. Saving a few bucks for an inferior product is not worth it. I would recommend this and buy it again.

This is great quality. Installed almost first thing with new a faucet on home purchase. Finally remodeled and replaced the counters and sink, was a little difficult to install behind the undermount sink. I've always been able to apply a tiny amount of pressure to get just a small amount out for smaller jobs or hands (had a roommate that you simply could NOT rinse the sponge out enough to get rid of the soap after) so it probably does dispense too much if you pump it hard. Well, ever since I re-installed it, I have to try like 6-8 pumps or even pull it out and reinsert this pump and ty it again to get it to dispense. I wonder what happened, if there's a particular direction that is the "front" and I put it back incorrectly. Like I said, it was a pain in the behind with the undermount sink and took about 3 attempts, with another set of hands above as you have to get the mounting nut in, and without help holding the top steady, will just spin. Make sure to have help when installing, and recommend saving the directions. I'll be looking for specs or directions to find out what happened to mine. Really is a great product. Oh and since my faucet handle is square and this is square, I have mistakenly grabbed this a few times to yank and turn on the faucet as well. Probably should have had the granite guys install it further away.

[update 2025/11/29] fonveth got in touch with me after my review and offered to send me a newer replacement model. This one doesn’t have an exposed spring and is so far working very well and the mechanism is very solidly constructed. I appreciate the post sale service. ————— Corners are very sharp, making it very uncomfortable to use as they will dig into your hand and smaller hands will need two hands to operate since the neck is so long. The outer parts are solid and well built, but the internal mechanism rusted in a couple of months to the point the spring broke and took out some other plastic parts. The pump will not spring back after that obviously, so you have to pull up and push down. The rust accumulated and the inside was fully gross. Do not recommend.

I had to replace the Moen soap dispenser that I paid over $120 for that never really worked well and just got worse until it was useless. This one rocks! It is beautifully crafted, quick to install, and pumps soap like no ones business. I connected it to a hose extension that goes right into my big bottle of Dawn and skipped the bottle which is always a pain to refill. Totally recommend it.

The bottle for the soap came broke, the representative was supposed to reach out to the seller to send another one but never did, the dispenser itself is beautiful and great quality.

In November 2020 I previously purchased a GAGAL Square Built in counter Soap Dispenser (Brushed Nickel) with Extension Tube Kit which LOOKS IDENTICAL to this FONVETH Soap Dispenser. The GAGAL dispenser stopped working in 2024 and I replaced it with this same looking FONVETH dispenser. The only difference was that this FONVETH dispenser had a screw-on bottle to refill each week and the GAGAL dispenser had a extension tube kit that fits inside a 2.5gl bottle at the bottom of the cabinet. Instead of using this small screw-on bottle, I simply attached the straw to the tubing that I used with the previous dispenser. The straw fit perfectly inside the tubing and draws soap form a 2.5qt bottle at the bottom of my cabinet. This new FONVETH dispenser draws up soap much better than the previous dispenser. The inside mechanism is different and improved. I will give another review to follow up.

I love these. They are very heavy duty. They are almost all metal instead of being plastic crap. So far no drip problems or anything of that nature. People complained about it giving too much soap with a full press but I have learned to give it a half press and its perfect. I have two of them. One for dish soap and one for hand soap.

High quality materials and manufacture. Different from the other dispensers with plastic pumps and main body. Even the nut to fix on the countertop is metal. Body and head are in nicked brass. The negatives are that the head cannot be rotated fast to clear the sink; requires lifting and repositioning at 90 degrees. It is ideal for larger sinks because the spout is long. There are sharp corners due to the square design.
