It's silent, it's a decent size, and the battery life is pretty good even if you leave it on for a while :] I'm quite a petite sorta person so I always get compact mouses recommended but I actually hate small mouses. This one is small hand friendly in my opinion, it's not too big or heavy! I put some cheap dollar store batteries in it and I've been using it almost every day for the past 3-4 weeks. I leave it on all the time and it's still running even with the cheap batteries.
