YOU MUST HAVE THE BASE THE FACTORY SENT WITH IT. i set mine in the base and looked to see if any light came from under the hopper and there was no light. then i wiped off the base and the contact points and used the wee lil glue that came with it to spot glue it in. bought a small bottle of crazy glue for crafting because it has a longer tip and glued the inside seam(from the point of where it was level on the hopper base around to the other side)and on the outside all the way around and i done this twice inside and outside. there is a tiny gap in the back so i used more glue there and so far it has stayed put with no problem. i waited a day before using it to make sure the glue was dry. you fill the hopper to the top with your tobacco and start rolling. a full hopper will do 2 packs of smokes before filling again. the handle is super easy to put on and makes the lever to move easier. if you buy this it will make your rolling time more profitable in ease and time. i deffo will buy another one if needed hope this helps ya out :) Review: Great hopper - Works perfectly with my injector. My hopper is broken** A: Both. You can glue it to just the machine or glue it to the old hopper and to the machine. Best addition to the machine by far with the bigger handle. When I purchase another machine, I will purchase this set again. **Q: Would this also work with hawk-matic 2?** A: Unfort no. It is very different and will not fit on that machine. Ours is 3d printed to exact tolerances that fit the powermatic 2 machines like a glove. You might be able to construct something out of cardboard. good luck.
