Take Care 10% Sulphur Soap 190g Bar

I originally decided to buy this to try treating my acne, but havnt used it for long enough yet to notice much results. However I also tried substituting my regular soaps for this one to use in the shower too, and the results were incredible. With normal soap bars from retail stores, I usually have to wash my body 2-3 times, and even then still have some body odour left, end up with a stinky towel as well as not feeling completely clean particularly in my armpits. Amazingly when I used this soap, I just washed my body once with it, and everything was cleaned better than it ever has been. There was no more odour left, or clinginess / unclean feeling, and also neither my towel nor the bathroom had any odours after I finished washing. Though when I use it on my face, it seems to leave a slightly negative smell similar to boiled eggs, likely due to the sulphur, but I didnt have this problem when using it on my body and hair, so I'll carry on using this soap in the shower, and try the tea tree oil one from the same brand on my face instead.

Had constant excessive yeast problem on my face. Redness, itchiness, flaky skin. Been at the dermatologists for 3-4 time, almost all of them recommended hydrocortisone. It was unhelpful and did not help at all. Some told me that I need to moisturize it 3-4 times a day, so I just took a big bottle of moisturizer with me all the time. Quite annoying and needless to say it didn't help much. The only thing that somewhat helped me was natamycin and neomycin(a substance found in anti-years ointments), and those somewhat helped but wasn't the perfect solution. I gave the sulfur soap a go and my flaky skin, redness and itchiness is forever gone. I use it in the morning to wash my face then I use some(any) moisturizer, although I'm not sure if I actually need a moisturizer anymore!! I do this daily and I was able to see results in about 2-3 days. My face is clean, no spots or acne either. It doesn't kill blackheads, but hey, you can't have everything! For curiosity once I tried to stop using the soap just to see if all the above problem comes back. It does! Took about 2-3 days and all the problem slowly started to show once again. So quickly I got back washing my face and it all fixed it. The soap lasts ages, I bought it 2-3 months ago, using it everyday and it still looks like I just bought it yesterday. Anybody having skin problems, it's recommended to AT LEAST give it a try. You won't be disappointed. I could not say anything negative about it, it doesn't smell bad as some reviewers say, it's just a regular(but useful!!!) soap. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I've only just started using this but so far it does a fantastic job of clearing all the crap off my teenage face (oils, dirt, dead skin, and so forth) and it's too soon to comment on whether or not it helps my moderate acne but I will update my review if it does a good job, which it seems like it will! Naturally you will need to use this in conjunction with a good moisturiser, although I'm not sure why so many people knock it for that as I don't know of any effective skin products below £30 that don't dry out your face a bit. It is also worth mentioning that while this soap is very good for the skin on your face, be extra careful as getting so much as the tiniest bit into your eye (even when mixed with water) is like losing a water fight in which your opponent's weapon is loaded with undiluted hydrochloric acid. No, seriously, don't get this stuff in your eye. They're still watering as I write this review. Overall, seems good and I will hopefully have more praises to sing further down the line. Four stars as they could have at least ATTEMPTED to tame the potent stench of smouldering farts. I might update it to 5 if it works miracles for my skin. UPDATE 07/03/15: I thought I'd get used to it. However, nearly three weeks later, my face, bathroom, pillow and wash cloth all still reek of volcanic bum cakes, as strong as ever. You really don't get used to the smell of sulphur! So far the soap has definitely improved my face - I get a lot less small spots and as previously stated, it keeps my oiliness at bay and "mattifies" the skin quite nicely for a few hours at least - however it has done no favours in terms of reducing marks and I still get a fair few mountainous whiteheads. It also did nothing to clear my blackheads, although they are slightly easier to remove after applying this. Sadly not effective enough to win back the star lost to the odour of a food-poisoned Minotaur on laxatives. If, like myself, you can tolerate such a smell then I would definitely recommend buying this soap (particularly if you have oily skin), but otherwise it's not worth the gagging.

Great for back acne and face acne. This is a medicinal product due to the sulphur. As it contains sulphur, it unsurprisingly smells like sulphur. This smell is actually unpleasant and your bathroom and towel will smell of it for a while after you shower and dry. It does not stain. the smell does not linger on your skin. You will get used to it after a few weeks. Do not expect this soap to smell of flowers or be a cosmetic or pampering type product, despite descriptions I've seen of 'flowers of sulphur' being used to make this product. Im pretty sure no flowers were used at all.This is a small price to pay as it has helped me greatly reduce my back acne from multiple painful boils to almost nothing with just a few times a week. I leave the lather on for a minute or two before washing off on the affected areas. After its success on my back I used on my face and it worked on my face acne too. It can dry the skin a bit though so you may need a moisturiser. One bar lasts forever though. I started using mine in January and it eventually ran out in May. Very impressive!

I decided to write this review after a while, as I wanted to give the product time to see if it really did do anything for me. I want to start off with a little introduction to my skin care. I am in my early 30's and suffer from accute acne and have done so for 16 yrs, I have used everything you could possibly think of, steriod creams, medicated acne cleanser's, clarisonic, etc......... I started to take Dianette tablets a year ago as a last resort, I found it helped other things like controlling my greasy hair but it wasnt making a huge difference to my skin. after being on it for 9 months, I was getting frustrated and tried finding something else that may be effective. While shopping on amazon for a facial cream, I noticed on the bottom of my screen "amazon recommends" product, it was a bar of soap. I looked at the ratings on it and they were not far off from 5 star. I read the reveiws and they were fantastic, I decided to give it a go as I was spending silly amount of money on cleansers that were not doing anything for my pocket nor my skin. I have been using this bar for 7 weeks now and I still have more than half the bar left!!! ok, now lets get to the point.....the first few weeks I didnt notice much apart from the fact my old spots were drying fast, after that I noticed my breakouts were less and now 7 weeks on almost non existent!! it has definitely helped keep my skin grease free. I would recommend using a oil free moisturiser with this, one which is also frafrance free, as the fragrance in all products esp the ones which are artificial frangrances provokes breakouts. I would highly recommend this item for all ages and definitely for people with severe to moderate acne.

I often get cyst-like acne during the blood moon, and my skin is prone to acne anyway, so I thought I would give this a go based on some of the reviews and simply because nothing else has worked so far. The first time I used this soap, it smelled like something dead had clawed its way out of Satan's backside and the stank clung to my skin with fervor, lasting throughout the night and the following morning, forcing me to shower again in so many hours. I'm pretty sure the stench had signed the hairs in my nose as I could still faintly smell the vapors of fire and brimstone. Needless to say it put me off using this soap for several days, until I realised that since using it for the first time, my skin actually felt a lot better. So I used it again. It was significantly less awful then, the smell reminiscent only of an old timer's toot. It didn't have the magical effect I was hoping for, my skin still breaks out on occasion, but then I don't use it every day so as to avoid dry skin. Still, it does seem to help with the cyst-like acne and I'm thankful for that if nothing else. So as long as you don't mind smelling of fart (and you will, and trust me, your co-workers will notice), this is probably worth a try. Like I said though, it's not a magical solution so don't expect your skin to clear up straight away. As a final tip, when you do use this soap, do so using an exfoliator and moisturize afterwards.

I've had horrible itchy, lumpy skin problems for years. Decades, in some cases. Various diagnoses include demodex follicultis and sebhorreic dermatitis. The skin on my facial T-zone, chest, arms, scalp and elsewhere has been mottled, blotchy, scaly, livid, sore, etc, etc. I've been through so many GP & dermatologist prescriptions and self-prescribed treatments, I can't begin to list them. That includes everything from topical and oral antibiotics to high-strength steroidal creams. A 'why not' moment led me to try this soap. After showering with it - using it on both my face and body every day - I was astounded to find that almost all my years-long skin problems had totally vanished in less than a week. My facial complexion is completely transformed and I've never looked better. The advanced oiliness around my nose and cheeks has all but disappeared, along with blotchiness and red patches around my hairline, ears and elsewhere. A particularly angry, recurrent patch of dermatitis on my chest has completely gone without leaving so much as a trace, as has lifelong pimply 'gooseflesh' along the backs of my arms. All gone! I am humbled :-) Of course, everyone's skin is different. But this stuff certainly works on mine. I'm absolutely delighted that after so much discomfort and experimentation, the answer to most of my problems turned out to reside in a simple, inexpensive bar of pleasantly-scented soap. Unreservedly recommended, and at £3.95 a pop it's not going to leave you out on a financial limb if it's not as effective for you as it has been for me.

10% sulphur is what you need for acne. This is excellent, has helped my son's skin a lot

Soap lives up to expectation, delivers what Sulphur is suppose to do to your skin. Mine is not very sensitive thought in general. Works well especially in calming breakouts, however you need to hydrate your skin after as it is a bit drying.

Bon savon ,forme assez grande pour ne pas vous échapper des mains,odeur agréable pour 10% de soufre j'ai était surpris on sent le soufre mais sa reste correct. En plus ,je trouve qu'il ne consume pas trop vite ,pour un prix un peu élevé à mon gout ,avec des qualités on peut dire que c'est un achat intéressant

Tenía un problema con dermatitis en la cara y lo ha mejorado bastante (mejor que muchos productos de farmacia más caros). Eso sí, mejor usarlo por la noche ya que el olor es un poco fuerte.
