They are really soft, well made, and apply makeup really well. I use this to apply pressed powder because I don't like using the sponge it came with -- the brush applies a much lighter layer and blends it really well. Plus it just feel really nice on your skin -- so soft! If you haven't tried their brushes before, I definitely recommend them. They're an affordable alternative to the more expensive brushes. And I have other brushes by them that I've had for almost a year and they have held up really well. I typically wash my brushes once a week and I've washed this one several times and it still looks great. I don't find that the hairs come out on my face or that it sheds when I'm washing it, so it should last a long time. Most makeup brushes will last for years if you regularly clean them and treat them well. I use a textured cleaning glove and the Ecotools brush shampoo to clean this brush and it gets the powder and oil off nicely.
