I'd be fine with a really well thought-out case design that is ...
It's okay. If you are into funky looks, might be for you. I'd be fine with a really well thought-out case design that is boring solid black. Lots of fan placement options and even switch (the funky caution-striped thing on top covers a 3 position switch) to run a few manually. If you are a gamer who builds a machine and never gets back inside the case, you might love this one. As for me, I long ago gave up keeping covers on my personal home PCs ... always upgrading, moving things around, trying new setups like RAIDs, etc. As I was building the system in this box I kept seeing things that would have made routing cables, etc so much easier. But all that is sort of minor, really. The big issue is the cheap, no let me rephrase that, the moronic method they have for securing drives. There is this little twist thing that locks down a cleap plastic pin that doesn't quite line up with the screw holes in the drive. I used to build systems as part of my job and I've never come across a more assinine way to mount drives. I broke a couple of the pins off trying to get things to work. Frustrated and wondering if I had a drive with nonstandard hole placement, I tried literally a half-dozen CD/DVD drives I have around and most didn't line up right. There's a reeeeeeason there are slots v. precise little holes in the metal mounting bays for drives! There is no way to use screws (at least on my version of the case, trust me, I know how to look for little holes) to secure the drives, so my drives are sort of floating, with only a funky wire thing holding them in on the front. I'm okay with that as I don't move my box around. But I found this to be a major disappointment. Not quite enough to drop to 2 stars, but a long, LONG way from 4 of 5.

Exactly as described
Does exactly what is descried, plus has tool-less drive bays that also fit my SSD drive. The top drive bay actually isn't useable for much due to the cables for the case running through there, but even so there is more than enough room with all the bays below. The gray panels in front can be moved and replaced, but putting them back is a little tricky with the powerful clips trying to punch them back through the case. Front fans have a protective panel that can be removed with thumb screws to expose a nice clean-able air filter and simply slides out. Same for the bottom fan for the power supply, which you DO have to provide for yourself (not included with this box), but I used a separate 825 watt psu. Plenty of tapered holes and spaces for cables to run without getting in the way and all my drives, motherboard, etc. fit with no problem. I actually didn't have a need for the fan switch on top of the case, with my mobo controlling all the fans but someone else will probably find it useful. Great buy, solid metal case designed to take a licken' and keep ticken', with plenty of room for all your parts.

Good with a couple caveats
Pros: Looks good, includes two 120mm fans, intake air filters, lots of space, rolled interior edges. I bought another 120mm for intake and air flow is great.Cons: expansion bays in the rear are flimsy and cannot be re-attached (punched metal). Front audio connectors are on the short side and require careful planning to route. Fan speed controller is a joke, I thought it would be a pot dial or at least a few useful speeds, but that is not the case. It is a janky little switch that goes from useless to full blast.Personal preference: The drive bay covers don't look as good once you put a disc drive. Red button looks cheap next to the metal accents and the dog tag.Overall: Very good for the money, aside from the caveats above it had a lot of useful features at this price point.

Aesthetically pleasing, Mediocre quality
Let me put it simply. This case looks nice, and certainly has some nice features including the fan controller, removable dust filters, and the overall setup of the interior, although beyond all of the aesthetics this case is poorly made. The metal of the case easily flexes and is extremely lightweight, the USB and power/reset cables are poorly constructed and are short, mounting points for standoffs are poorly done, the 3.5 inch bay covers fall out of place easily and the top bay isn't quite usable as it's occupied with case wires, the instructional booklet is non-existent (although there is a PDF file available on Antec's website), the stock cooling setup is a joke as the there are no intake fans, and on my particular unit it arrived without one of screws that secure part of the front in place. This case was intended for my brother who at this very moment is still very ecstatic about it. I on the other hand am less than impressed, and wouldn't recommend it as there are other products at this price range that are constructed far better.

Great Case
I really like this case. So many nice things to list: it has a filter in the front and bottom that work very well and are easy to clean. The fan controller works nicely, I like to put it down on low when just surfing the net and high when gaming. The cable management works, not a ton of room but no issues. I do love having the Power Supply on the bottom which really helps with the balance of the case. There is also a lot of room in the case for whatever CPU cooler you want to use, I have the ARCTIC Freezer A30 Extreme CPU Cooler which is huge and still has space in the case. All of the bays work very well and are easy to use, to include the hard disk drive bays and CD bays. The look of it is nice with the military look and feel, may be too cheesy for some but still better that just a borning black case or clear window case. I am very happy with this case and would buy it again.

Good value
Rating this 4 stars due to the value. What you get for what you pay is excellent. This was my 2nd build and it went pretty smoothly. The only gripe I have is that it is somewhat flimsy. The sides are a little too flexible but all of the other aspects of the case are so good and, again the $ was so good that I've come to accept that. All in all I'm very pleased with the case. All parts function as advertised....the fan switch on top is cool...works great. All USB's work as they should etc. Again, very pleased with this product and the $ I paid for it.

A quiet case
This case is used in my Kitchen diner and is used for gaming, homework and general surfing/TV viewing I run a E8400 OC'd to 4Ghz with a GTX 760 also OC'd. The fact I can turn off the case fans when watching TV or surfing make it really quiet, but when my son games on it the case cooling keeps times well within limits(I did add an extra intake 120mm fan at the front). The tool less installation was a doddle, and optical and hard drive noise is much better than my previous Antec case. I will be trying the SSD drive mounts soon but if my experience continues I don't envisage any problems

Great budget case with a few corners cut
My previous case was an Antec 300, again a budget gaming case, and the GX700 improves on it in a few areas, the most important being the easy hard drive access trays and an exterior fan control switch. The front panel USB3 ports are also very welcome and I love the way the GX700 looks. Cable storage is also very handy and I've at last got a case which doesn't look like an explosion at Dell...Compared to the 300, the GX700 is made from noticeably thinner metal. The side doors are of the 'clasp and push' variety rather than the 300's 'swing outwards' and they're just not as easy to manage. The rear panel slots on the GX700 are covered by a cheap 'push-out' metal blank and I had trouble removing them cleanly. All in all, a very good, well-featured case from Antec. The above gripes are what keeps it from being a 5 star in my book but that's only when compared to the Antec 300. Compared to any other budget gaming case I've owned it's a total winner.

Great case for beginners and those with a low budget.
Good case for the money, build quality is very good although not exceptional with the removable tool less 3.5 drive trays feel a bit flimsy without a drive installed, the pci slots are a twist and break affair and not replaceable. The included fan controller is a simple switch which only has off and two speeds slow and full speed. The open top design allows effective convection cooling for silent operation on low loads with the fans turned off although it allows dust a very easy route into your computer. To sum up, this case is ideal for new gamers or builders who want room to upgrade with limited water cooling support.

Great and sturdy case with plenty of room inside
Great and sturdy case with plenty of room inside. I personally don't like the look of it very much, but I got it on a deal and it was by far the best value for money I could find.
