Beware if you are going to permanently connect this device to your computers. This is true for macOS or OSX. I am not sure about the behaviour on Windows / Linux environments

Generic!
Decent one. But ultimately it's a cheap hub that doesn't work with adapted. It falsely advertised that it has a 5V input. I tried using an adaptor. It didn't work. So it's just like a normal non-powered USB 3.0 hub.

Bad cable length
Seems to be a good product but cz of the short length of the cable its not at all a worth product as all your external decices get disconnected every now then...

It was dellivered in time and in good shape. It feels very light and cheap
It was dellivered in time and in good shape. It feels very light and cheap. But it was the best and cheapest available option on Amazon and has been working great with my RPi music server. I wish they supplied the adapter with it. I have not measured USB speeds with it.

Incompatible for external input devices.
In its description it was said that it will support external keyboard and mouse. I bought this recently. It didn't support any of the external devices - keyboard, headphones, optical mouse. Whenever I connect these devices to this usb hub it shows the usb not recognised msg.

Its okay. It is fast when connected but a little movement can disrupt the connections.Works great with mobiles and USB but very poorly with External storage. All problems aside it does the job in providing more ports to a limited system.
