I`m pleasantly surprised how great this product is! I applied it to dry hair, only to the roots first and after ten minutes, I applied it to full hair. Left it on my hair for a total of 40 minutes. I rinsed it with plain water without shampoo. I then applied my usual leave-in conditioner and curly hair mousse. I let it air dry. The color came out beautiful! It is even. The roots are very slightly lighter blond but I have a lot of grays and it is normal. With darker colors, it will probably be more uniform at the root area. Best part was, not having to put vaseline to avoid marks on my skin. This product does not stain the skin. It does not have a very heavy smell. And it did not cause any burn or discomfort on my scalp. My hair feels very nice and soft. It is a big bottle, it will go a long way. Mine is light honey color and it is a very nice tone. My hair was slightly darker blonde before I applied. This is the first time I used a shampoo hair dye and I`m so glad I did. Hair dying at home will not be a torture any more. I hope it will last after some shampoo washing. I`m sharing a few pictures, color and hair looks better in person. I`m very pleased.

I bought the HERBBY Hair Color Shampoo in natural black to cover some gray hair, and overall I’m satisfied with the results. It’s very easy to use since it works like a regular shampoo, which makes the process quick and convenient. The color looks even and natural, not too dark or fake-looking. This doesn't even deserve ZERO stars! EVERYTHING about the description of this product is an outright LIE! Not only did it NOT cover a SINGLE grey hair, but FAR worse, it has COMPLETELY RUINED my WAIST-LENGTH HAIR that I have spent countless YEARS (well over a decade) growing out, by turning it an absolutely HORRENDOUSLY DISGUSTING shade of bright yet DIRTY looking ORANGE!!! I am not a terribly vain person, yet this is SO BAD, that I am in literal TEARS and utterly HUMILIATED and ASHAMED of just HOW HORRENDOUS this looks. It is SO BAD, there is NO WAY I can go out in public looking like this! I'm too ashamed and embarrassed to even post photos of what this has done to my formerly beautiful hair. I've wrapped up my hair and stuffed a beanie over my head, and can't even BEAR to look at this or I start crying again. I assure you that I am also NOT an overly emotional person, either. All I wanted was to cover (or even just make less noticeable) the grey/white hairs, and the product photos shown for this shade (Wild Honey) are almost a perfect match to my natural color, and with so many great reviews, this seemed like the perfect product, but instead, is a humiliatingly UGLY nightmare. And then to add insult to injury, I am having to argue just to get a refund for this vile LIE of a product, which is, quite literally, the VERY LEAST that can be done after this garbage has completely RUINED my waist-length hair that has taken more than a decade to grow out. Some may think this to be an overreaction, but ladies, I KNOW so many of you will understand just HOW important our hair is to us. It's FAR more than "just hair". For so many of us, it is somehow a DEEPLY meaningful and DEEPLY INTEGRATED part of our *IDENTITY*, itself. And considering that this isn't a pixie cut or something that will "just grow out in a couple/few months" and be okay again, but rather (and please forgive the repetition and grant me grace; I just truly AM beside myself here), but hair that is just slightly past my WAIST in length...... Words cannot express HOW UGLY this is! Not to mention that EVERY SINGLE solitary stand of grey and white hairs REMAIN stark grey and white amidst the background of this absolutely HIDEOUS orange color! (Not copper, not red, not strawberry: but ORANGE!!! The ugliest shade imaginable! Like, maybe pale dirty rust or something. I can't even describe it, it is SO AWFUL!!!) My hair was also healthy virgin hair with no damage, so nothing of that sort could explain why or how it turned out like this, either. The absolute BARE MINIMUM that this company could and SHOULD do is refund the money wasted on their absolutely ATROCIOUS product with an absolutely 100% LIE of a description, from the color shown to claiming that it covers greys, which has completely and utterly RUINED my hair! I cannot even begin to guess the massive cost it will require to even attempt to fix this. And HERBBY, if you read this, I will be reporting you to the BBB and taking any and ALL other actions possible for what your scam product has done to me, only for you to then somehow manage to make it even WORSE by ALSO finding a way to add even MORE stress to an already horrible situation by trying to refuse a refund! You should be as ashamed of yourselves as your horrible product has made ME feel about MYSELF by completely destroying my hair! Not to even *mention* the massive amount of hair your product made fall out! Hopefully *that* doesn't continue to be an issue on TOP of everything else. Not that it matters much, since this horrifically disgusting color is SO UGLY and humiliating, that I WILL have to live in this beanie for the foreseeable future. Salons charge HUNDREDS of dollars to attempt to color-correct hair, let alone hair this long, which is financially prohibitive. I do apologize for such venting, but this is absolutely heartbreaking, humiliating, AND infuriating.

I love the ease of use. It was as instructed shampoo and wait. No hair loss, full coverage. I am a woman of color and if looks amazing. I bought wild honey. Because of my hair color it's a.little darker but totally even. I cant wait to use again to lighten it. It is a must buy. I think I will.put highlights with blond. This is a game changer. My hair feels great. I used my hair conditioner and a little oil since my hair is a little yaky at times. Next.time I will put pics. Now lets.make.sure hair stays healthy. Try it! Way better than old way of dying hair at home.

This works great, I put it in with dry hair, used the gloves from the box, mixed the product with both hands before applying and rubbing intobmy hair, massaged the product into my hair and waited 40 minutes before rinsing. My hair color came out perfectly even. But beware, if you buy the chestnut brown, it is a shade of red, a nice brownish red, but its a red. I had it in my head the chestnut would be a nutty/woody shade of brown, well its red, especially in the sunlight. Looks good though. And one note when youre rinsing, maybe because I used it on dry hair but it *stiffened* as I was rinsing it in lukewarm water, I just rinsed for longer and used a leave in conditioner and once I towel dried it it was smooth to comb through, but it thought it was weird and worth mentioning. I might try it on wet hair next. No rub off on my pillows, no mess in my shower. Oh one more. Bit of advice, ignore your impulse to put Vaseline on your face/hairline, my baby fringe hair didnt take color as well as the rest, but the color that got on my skin, like shoulder and arm, rinsed right off in the shower so don't put anything on your face that could touch your hair and obstruct the dye. Overall this stuff is great, I have long hair (down to my biceps) and I have more than half of this bottle left over. I might try all the colors. My hair feels great, my greys are gone, this color was easy to apply evenly.

I really like Herbby. I have darkest brown hair and hard-to-dye hair. I gave it 4 stars because on the sides of my head by my ears, the dark brown shade dyes nice and dark, but on the top of my head, it dyes a lighter brown shade than the sides of head w/ a reddish tint. This could be a problem due to my actual hair, though. The first round is fine, but as the hair grows out, the color is too disparate on top. So, I mix the dark brown shade with the Herbby black color. That works great. I'm still trying to figure out how much black to use, so it's not too dark. It doesn't bother my scalp and for the most part, it doesn't dye my face. Regarding the dark brown, I don't think it stains my face, but the black shade has stained it (mixed w/ the dark brown) 2 times now. I don't mind. It comes off the next day or so. Nice color and easy to use, though, I do apply the color by sectioning my head, just like when I use a box dye, for more even coverage. I love its ease-of-use, mixes perfectly, easy application and the wait is short before washing out. I recommend Herbby!

I'm writing to provide feedback on the hair color product. While I appreciate some aspects, there are significant issues I encountered. The color provided decent coverage on my natural, uncolored hair, but unfortunately, it offered minimal coverage of my gray hairs. This resulted in an uneven application, with my gray hairs remaining largely untouched despite multiple applications. To further complicate matters, I'd previously highlighted my hair, creating a multi-tonal effect. This pre-existing coloring likely contributed to the inconsistent results I experienced with your product. The overall effect is patchy and less than satisfactory. The last photo was my hair color before the hair shampoo color application I'm disappointed with the product's performance, particularly considering the uneven coverage of my gray hair. While I understand some variation is possible, the degree of unevenness in this case was substantial. I'm hopeful that with time, my hair will return to a more natural and even state. I'm considering returning the product for a refund, given the unsatisfactory results and my concerns about potential further damage to my hair.
