Replaced hinges for door leading to garage when builder didn't include these. So glad this was available as a direct replacement (square on one side and rounded on the other as well as hole locations)! Unscrewed the old ones and installed these. Setting the spring tension was simple. The whole process took me about 15 minutes and now my door doesn't fly open out of reach and closes itself to a point where I can fully close with a simple pull. Note, I didn't cut the pins after setting the spring tension in case I want to change it later. They don't protrude too far and should be safe for most people. One is less than a foot above the floor and the second is well above eye level for most people. Review: Wonderful! - Fits like a glove! Just need to know how to put tension on the spring mechanism. Not sure the instructions are clear enough on that.
