If the speaker is mounted horizontally the horn pivots up and down. If the speaker is mounted vertically the horn pivots right and left.

Is this the same speaker as pro-250rpw?

The R-5502-W II is not the same speaker as the PRO-250RPW. Among other things, the main difference between these models is the moveable tweeter on the R-5502-W II, while the 250RPW is a fixed tweeter. Other differences between the models are listed on the spec sheets.
