Now that was a hard bill to swallow. I will most likely end up paying less for my son's first bike than this thing. But..Its really well made. Its highly adjustable. Its easy to pop off and put on my other bikes. Its completely contact-less. It only touches the stem and a small part of the seat stay. Its stable, there is no sway. This thing has my son so stoked to ride a bike after day care, that he flips out if we dont hop on it. Most weekends I have him on this 2x a day. "Da da, BIKE." That's worth 360.00

Awesome product. Expensive, but rock solid quality and pretty easy install. My two year old absolutely loves riding the bike together now. Highly recommend this version, even if you don’t have a thick down tube/e-bike that requires it, because it comes with two stem caps which allows you to quickly switch the seat between two bikes.

My son is obsessed with going mountain biking with me now that we rode Fruita with this Shotgun. He's a ~40 lb 3-year-old. It was pretty tough to ride back uphill with him with the extra weight, but the easy downhill tracks were perfect. Set up was pretty simple but you do need to permanently add a fixture to your handlebar post which gets used for attaching the quick release system. The handlebars are a nice touch and made my son keep his hands off of my handlebars. While we were riding he would constantly say "mommy, this is so much fun!". I can't wait to get back on the trails with him for another season before he's out on his own! One downside: I'm only 5'4" and I do need to play some head space tetris with him to ensure I can see because he's so tall.

Overall this is a wonderful product. My toddlers absolutely love it. It’s very easy to install. We use these on our fat bikes. Our 2 and 3 year old can both sit comfortably. On the seat. The seat and the bar it sits on are very sturdy and well made. I think the handle bars are not as well made but they still function. There isn’t a huge difference between the basic shotgun combo handles and the pro handles. I was kind of expecting them to be a littler sturdier but again they still function as they should. This set up is ridiculously expensive but the the kids love it and it’s the best way to get the whole family out and not have to chase two toddlers in opposite directions. That’s priceless. If you’re deciding between the basic kids shotgun seat vs the pro and you dont plan on using it for an e bike I would recommend getting the basic seat. I find that one to be better value for money. The basic seat also fits on other kinds bikes not just mountain bikes.
