Good printer
Good printer. With free small cartridges. Was unable to print by wifi because printer showing offline. May be settings issue. Rest of functions very fine and easy. Installation CD Software application interaction same as Pixma G series

Overall good printer for home
Printing speed is decent, print quality is good but colour prints could be better. Printer quality is also decent. Easy to install, connect and use. Overall I am satisfied with this printer as this pricing.

Not working from day 1
Very poor product and disappointing service. There is no onsite warranty, and authorized service centers are hard to find even in metro cities. The printer started showing paper jam error code 1000 from day one, despite being brand new. Basic functionality like paper pickup does not work, and fixing the issue requires visiting distant service centers, making the experience extremely frustrating. The service support is slow and inconvenient. I strongly advise against buying this product. It is unreliable, poorly supported, and not worth the effort or cost.

The printer is great. Ink cartridge ? Not so much !
Bought this as a Diwali gift for my sons who need to print their school, college assignments/reference material etc. The printer itself is neat and does the job well (although ideas for saving on paper through double sided printing is a hassle with this one), it looked great for the first 6 months. However with the claimed print capacity of 400 pages for the Black Ink cartridge PG-47 that came along with the printer I was surprised to see it gave up with barely 200 pages printed (infact it could be as little as 150 pages). With the ink cartridge exhausting such quickly I am largely disappointed in print outputs department. Canon can do better !

Everything is good, ink consumption is heavy.
Works fine. Scans clearly, photocopies quickly and prints good. Ink usage is heavy and requires frequent refills. Ink is expensive, so that increases the cost of operating it.
