Knightsbridge CS2181AB 1G 2-way 10-200W (5-150W LED) trailing edge dimmer - Square Edge Antique Brass

The product worked fine, and was straightforward to install. The brass enclosure is a little deeper (sticks out from the wall more) than is currently fashionable. Also, the brass color is a little bit more silverish than the gold I had inferred from the picture. But all in all much better than having my electrician come over install some cheap garbage for 100 quid.

Having purchased a new centre LED light fitting was looking for the appropriate dimmer switch. Having tried all the usual DIY shops without any luck turned to Amazon. Picture shows bright shiny switch but in reality it is very dark. As for the dimmer it does not dim as much as our previous dimmer did with standard light not sure if this is normal but whatever we are stuck with it as its all we can get.

By having a dimmer setting switch incorporated makes it easy to set the minimum light without the bulbs turning off completely, a great function.

I bought this switch because my existing dimmer switch wasn't suitable for led lights. Kinightsbridge has been a very reliable brand in the past so I was somewhat disappointed when I fitted it and it didn't dim the lights. I eventually discoverd from the minutely small instructions that there is an adjustment screw on the rear of the switch that you have to turn clockwise to vary the amount of dimming you require. This worked and the switch now dims perfectly.

This has worked perfect for the first year but had to get an electrician to check it as it stopped dimming the lights. The transformer has gone wrong so will need to replace it

This product is very good quality and was easy to install. It was also a very pleasing brass colour which would blend into any decor.

Expensive, nice to look at and does not work with a Philips Dimtone LED bulb. To be precise, it dimmed very nicely but at full brightness the light flickered very regularly, once a second or so. Minimum brightness setting is with a potentiometer adjustment on the dimmer block, which makes it practically impossible without tinkering with it whilst on - not recommended. The instructions are very nearly impossible to read, they are printed very small and a little blurrily. There appears no way to switch between trailing edge and leading edge, if there were, I might have been able to solve the flicker. But the panel is nice, and I've retained it after swapping the dimmer block with a cheaper one which worked, though the shiny switch cover keeps falling off - it just needs a touch of glue. A very expensive panel!

Really happy with this switch. Worked very well with Two LED bulbs. Nice finish to the switch itself as well.
