My pillows don’t have any mildew, mold, etc, and I’ve kept these puppies on the porch for over a year. They haven’t faded at all either ! They’re good for porch pillow covers, but I wouldn’t recommend indoors. They’re not very soft.

These pillow cases are super soft. The zipper protects the pillow from allergens. The dark purple color is great! Dual purpose pillow case: I actually bought this set for travel! I don't have a waterproof backpack, and needed one for a trip, so I used the pillow case inside my backpack to keep all of my items dry. It worked very well.
