The 500DL Pro Oxometer is extremely easy to use and quickly get a reading. I used this repeatedly over a short space of time and there was little variation in the results. Definitely within the tolerances described in the literature. The build quality is good for the price paid. The lanyard is a useful addition, but I probably wouldn’t use the case that came with it, as it is very flimsy. Overall, I am very happy with the 500DL Pro as a useful guide to sat levels. I recommend reading the information and product description, so you are fully informed on the intended use of this Oxometer before you buy.

easy to use

This monitor arrived promptly, well packaged. It seems well built and works exactly as expected. It comes with a silicone cover for easy cleaning. It is worth noting that this is a consumer item as expected at this price point with an accuracy of +/- 2% which is perfectly fine for the pupose intended, which was to provide evidence of low SPo2 in the event of Covid-19 infection to the NHS call center staff. Well recommended for home use.

This is a good little device. Having no calibrated device to compare it against, I can't say how accurate it is but it seems pretty good. Certainly the pulse rate part is spot on. It's very easy to use and read and the instructions are comprehensive and clear. ALl of which gives confidence. One caveat - the unit was supplied with batteries which only lasted a couple of goes, so obviously old stock. Rather than mess around returning it, I'm now using rechargable batteries, which work fine.

Product arrived within 24 hours. It appears to be accurate but I have no way of checking it hence only giving it 4 *,same with value for money. I have purchased it in case I, or my family, gets ill with Covid-19 and need to check oxygen levels. It looks well made and is very easy to use. I am impressed with the company from whom I have bought it - they appear to be very efficient and conscientious.

This product arrived on time and I was not disappointed. It was bought for a family member who had been ill with a chest problem. I tested it at home before I sent it on ensuring I was not sending something that was not useful. The product is neat, lovely quality with instructions that are easy to follow. The digital measurement are instant and after many tries were consistent. A very light neat product that could be slipped into a pocket. I would recommend this product.

Using the meter on different fingers gives very different results - so not sure I can rely on the accuracy - eg 95% on one finger and 87 on the next one - but difference not consistent.

Does the job and only bought due to covid, but handy to have.

This pulse oximeter seems to be an extraordinarily good value for a piece of well-designed scientific equipment. The device appears to be quite sturdy, and is further protected by a silicon shell, which also makes it less slippery to hold. It holds my finger quite snugly but comfortably, and the readings are clear. I didn't check the accuracy of the SpO2 reading with another device, but a manual check showed that the pulse reading was accurate and reliable. Set up was easy, except that curiously, though the two batteries had to sit in opposite directions, as indicated by the polarity signs in the case, the two battery springs were on the same side, and the two raised circles both on the opposite side. Thus for one of the batteries the positive pole sat against the spring, and the negative against the raised button, opposite of any other battery holder I've ever seen. But it still works fine. There is even a lanyard that attaches to the back of the oximeter. Not sure that I'd ever want to carry the thing around my neck, but if nothing else it will probably help prevent it from getting misplaced, and maybe it will prove convenient to hang it up on a hook somewhere for storage. There is no off switch, which is slightly disconcerting, but the manual says that it automatically turns off after 16 seconds of no signal. I'd rather that the "on" switch could be pressed again to turn the unit off, but this is a minor quibble.

Ricevuto oggi, dopo tre giorni, come da notifica. Completo di due batterie. Funziona benissimo. Sono contenta perché la mia ossigenazione varia da 98 a 100(!), e fumo, mentre mio marito (che non fuma e si aspettava che io fossi meno ossigenata di lui) ha registrato 98 - 97. Spero solo che continui a funzionare così bene, almeno finché dura il covid 19.

No puedo creer que una cosa tan económica funcione tan bien. Pero es así. Lo utilizo más de lo que pensaba, porque es muy fácil hacerlo

The unit works well; I am happy with it's performance. In the first few seconds, the readings can fluctuate quite a bit. So for a more accurate reading, leave it on for at least 10 seconds, and then you should have a steady readout. I am a young person who uses this occasionally while at rest as well as while exercising, just to monitor my heart rate at various times. It is very small and lightweight, making it useful for fitness buffs to use during exercise to see if they are meeting their target heart rates. Everyone, both young and old, will appreciate the fact that it's easy to use (just push one button to turn on, and it automatically powers off after use). The unit features an LED screen with clear, large numbers that should be easy to read (a major plus for those with poor eyesight) - because the numbers are lit up, this product can also be used in the dark with no ambient light source required. In terms of build quality, it doesn't seem to be particularly well-constructed or durable (I'd be interested to see if it survives a drop), but it does the job and is still working after about a month of use.
