These chairs are great quality, easy to assemble and sturdy! Very comfortable as well since the seat is pretty wide. Love the look and the price is unbeatable for solid wood chairs. I was scared by other reviews saying screws don't line up but the key is to not tighten anything fully until you've assembled the entire chair and then have someone sit on the chair before tightening the screws so everything moves into place. Had no issue with any of the 6 chairs we purchased.

Not difficult to assemble but sometimes the holes do not align properly, so you will have to contend with some screws not wanting to fit in the predrilled holes. Some parts aren't clearly labeled and you have to make your best guess, but it isn't that difficult to take apart if necessary for reassembling. I have an authentic Scandi MCM teak dining table and these look great with it for the price point. They are very comfortable to sit in. My criticisms are that the seat fabric is a scratchy synthetic fabric that I don't love but it is neutral enough. I am guessing it stains easily since I received a set with grease stained seats that I returned (what a freaking headache THAT was with Amazon), but I think I could reupholster them pretty easily if needed. Also, the legs flair out, which is part of the design and stability, but note that this means it is really easy to stub your toes on the legs if they are pulled away from the table, and it does make the measurements wider at the bottom, so consider this if you have a small space and/or if you are trying to figure out how many you can fit around a table. I compared similar chairs and these have a larger seat cushion than many. Because of the curved back, they also do not push up to the table 100 percent, which is a factor in a small space if you want to make sure there is adequate space around the table. Overall, I am really pleased and feel like these chairs look much more expensive, fit well with Scandi MCM design, are stable and comfortable. I would buy again.

These mid century modern chairs are sturdy and comfortable. It took me awhile to figure out the tricks to make assembly go faster, but since I bought 3 sets (6 chairs) by the time I had completed two it went much faster. It's important to follow the tips given to be sure the chair doesn't wobble and the bolts settle as they should and be sure to tighten the bolts sequentially. Extra hardware is included, which is good, because some of the bolts go in more easily than others. The chairs look great. They look expensive. They are a great value for the money.

As others have said, this is an excellent, solid wood, mid-century stylish chair set. For the price (for two chairs!) these really are a great value. I ended up buying 2 sets for a 4-person square table. One set arrived broken in the back, but I was able to replace it through Amazon with minimal fuss (just the waiting time to deal with the UPS pickup). There is some variation in the wood used, such that the stain in some areas is a bit uneven, with some wood knots that seem to be lighter or darker colored. The backrests in particular have somewhat different color woods coming together where the different pieces were joined. It is not too noticeable and for the price I guess it's to be expected. The other minor thing is that the chair seat fabric (I got the dark beige, which is more of a basic grey) gets some depressions and creases if you put pressure on it that stick around awhile. For example, if my cats walk across them, there are paw-shaped depressions in the seat foam that stay there until I smooth it out. If you are crafty, these would be a great set to re-upholster, and that may be what I do someday. All together a solid chair and I'm glad I listened to the reviews on here and purchased them!

PROS: The chairs look great. They are mid century modern and are very similar to the chairs at West Elm. They are pretty comfortable and sturdy. CONS: You think you’re ordering dark beige but you will be receiving light gray instead. The box is labeled “light gray” and the color was not what we were expecting. The pieces of the chair are not made uniformly. Some pieces were slightly different which made assembling challenging. Luckily we had ordered 2 sets and were able to mix and match the pieces to make 4 sturdy chairs. Overall, for this price point they aren’t a bad purchase. We’re disappointed in the color but besides that they are nice chairs.

These are perfect! We've had ours for about a month now and absolutely love them—nice and spacious seats, comfy, and sturdy. Assembly was easy enough. As for style, I'd self-describe as someone who has way nicer taste than she can afford—to toot my own horn... I decided to kid my family on a virtual call that the table (the one Amazon recommends with these chairs) and chairs were a set that cost $5,000 after my family kept complimenting them and our new couch... They actually believed it! I mean, in my opinion, the table doesn't look so expensive if you really sit and scrutinize (or if you know about furniture materials probably...), but, tbh, the chairs totally pass... Even my very fancy/classy landlord complimented them. On reflecting on my post, I'm realizing how it looks like I just got these to pass as rich, ha. Not so! (At least not consciously. Hopefully not unconsciously either...) I was attracted to the modern aesthetic and curved wood tops. I saw and liked a similar set on Article or Allmodern, or somewhere, first, and then decided to look for something similar but cheaper. This is one of those rare times in my experience where the knockoff is totally well worth it & maybe just as good.

They are excellent, the value for the pair is perfect - same pair elsewhere will retail a lot higher. The quality is perfect, the seat cushion is a lighter grey and would have preferred it a beige or weight but they still look great. They are sturdy, do not wobble, all instructions and parts are provided, easy to follow, super easy to put together. I highly recommend.

The chairs were pretty easy to assemble and look exactly what I wanted. I read some of the other reviews that said it was hard to assemble but I would say equivalent to ikea. I had ordered the “dark beige” colour but the chairs are grey - box noted “light grey” as colour. Nonetheless, they look great and I am very happy with them.

I really like these chairs. They're the perfect addition to my MCM dining room. They look great and the seats are a neutral cool light grey colour. They require a little experience to assemble-particularly when trying to get the legs even. The instructions call for you to drop them repeatedly on the floor. Not a great option with wood floors. 3 of the 4 chairs went together well but the last one is wobbly and I can't seem to fix it.

These chairs are quite beautiful and I love the MCM flair they bring to our dining area. My husband found them a little tricky to put together but overall not too bad. I would say the seat part is very comfortable, the back a little less so.

Cannot screw the nail in as the seat doesn’t align to the back post. I bought the first set have this problem. I returned and ordered again. Unexpectedly the second set has exactly the same problem.
