Does it smell like Special Reserve?** A: So, I was a Brut user in the 60s and 70s. This particular fragrance (to me) is the least like the original Brut. I won't be buying it again. The Brut special reserve in the bottle that looks like the original bottle is more like the fragrance I remember. That is the one I will be buying next time (I've had it before). So, in a nutshell, this one does not smell the same as the Special Reserve - and as it says on the box - it is an "aeu de toilette" - and not the cologne or after shave. Hope this helps.
