I bought one of these for my Mathews Q2XL, and it worked perfectly. The pressing bolt can be harsh on the fingers, but a 1/2" socket fits perfectly over the bolt head, and turning it becomes a snap. When you fit it on your bow, be very careful to make sure the end-pieces stay placed properly on the limbs as you take up the slack in the cable. They do wiggle quite a bit until the cable is taut and may slip up. I pressed my bow with it at least a dozen times without any issues. Since all bows are constructed differently, I've heard complaints of this press not fitting. Do some googling beforehand. Also, split-limb bows do require a pricey $40 split-limb adapter not included with the package. I was expecting it to work on a compound crossbow but it would not adjust. Decription did not specifically say it was not intended for crossbow. Sold it to bow hunter who could use it.
