## Description

Starbond Accelerator Super Glue Accelerator, also known as CA Glue "Activator", is used to significantly reduce drying time for cyanoacrylate Super Glue. CA Glue Accelerant is a solvent based product that can be applied before and after CA glue application. Super Glue Accelerator typically combines a thicker viscosity CA adhesive with a black CA adhesive. Because these adhesives require some time to dry. Also useful in primer uneven surfaces and materials combinations that are difficult to bond or in cold and dry environments where curing time may be delayed. Comes in a pump sprayer and aerosol shape Used to cure CA that flows from the joints pressed together, greatly increases joint strength. Accelerator is highly recommended because if you use a large amount of CA when filling the gap, adhesive time may take much time. Review: First of all, the accelerator itself (the chemical) works perfectly. HOWEVER the manual spray pump that I got with my bottle is TERRIBLE. It is stiff and awkward and the opposite of smooth. It is SO BAD that I ordered some small spray bottles to transfer the chemical into to make it usable. I ordered this version because I WANTED the manual spray pump to provide finer control than the aerosol cans that are also available. Perhaps my sprayer is the exception but be warned you may get an AWFUL spray pump as well.

First of all, the accelerator itself (the chemical) works perfectly. HOWEVER the manual spray pump that I got with my bottle is TERRIBLE. It is stiff and awkward and the opposite of smooth. It is SO BAD that I ordered some small spray bottles to transfer the chemical into to make it usable. I ordered this version because I WANTED the manual spray pump to provide finer control than the aerosol cans that are also available. Perhaps my sprayer is the exception but be warned you may get an AWFUL spray pump as well.

I have both this and the aerosol but I find myself reaching for the spray pump any time I have to deal with using CA glue with small pieces. The aerosol can provides a lot of force and can easily blow away some smaller pieces and delicate work, but this manual pump spray doesn't have that problem. In fact, I find myself using this more than the aerosol anyway because it's simply easier to control the amount and direction any time I need the glue to set quickly.
