I ordered an extra case to keep a battery drill in but it's that cavernous I've got the drill, spare battery, charger, drill boxes, holesaws and the lot in there. The bigger case has a handy little tote tray in there. The other smaller cases all have a little snap shut case inside as well as small dividers. The whole thing clips together very easily so you can choose what order you want them stacking in. I'm very impressed by this, it's expensive but looks like it will last for years to come! How many foam inserts would I need?** A: I wouldn't worry too much about the inserts if I were you - you'd need to have quite specific knowledge of what tools he has and how he intends to use/store them to know what inserts to get. These are great bits of kit - as an electrician too, I have two of these roller kits plus crates and extra boxes. There's still no room for a dustpan and brush though. Electricians don't need them. **Q: Can you fit padlocks to each item** A: You can, but to be honest this might be the one failing of the system. The holes are moulded into (admittedly heavy-duty) plastic that could easily be cut through. It's also a shame they can't be locked together as a unit. They do latch together robustly, but there's no secure way of stopping each from being unlatched from the others.
