This is a great little hand skimmer for our grand daughters backyard blow up pool! It could be just a little tighter to capture even the tiny debris, but for our application it does a good job. You can get the really small items, you just have to make several passes. The only other issue is the handle is just a tad on the wimpy side. I don't know why skimmer manufacturers can't make a middle of the road model that doesn't bow or bend when you run it through the water at a normal speed. Add a couple of dollars to the price and beef that puppy up a notch or two, people will pay for quality. The only other nice upgrade would be another foot to the handle length. You just about have to be in the water to use this one without bending over completely or reaching to the center or deeper, even in a small pool or hot tub. That would make a perfect hand skimmer to cover many applications, but this one gets the job done at a very reasonable cost. Would recommend, just don't hand it to little kids to play with or it won't last very long.

I love this because it’s small. I leave it next to the pool so I can easily scoop anything that lands in the pool, like leaves or bugs, without having to get the big pole. It’s just easier to use for day to day.

Better than expected. I have used it often in removing bugs and debris from the pool.

I was skeptical for the price of this item but it delivered. I purchased this item to get the bugs and debris off the top of the water for our swimming pool that the skimmer didn’t catch. Simple doesn’t take up a lot of room for storage and works great. The mash is small enough to catch tiny debris and it’s easy to clean off when you’re done. I was expecting it to be pretty flimsy, but it’s actually very solid and durable. I wouldn’t push too hard on the mesh, but I think that’s common sense.

Great for cleaning pool but no means if hanging it up. Needs a hole to string it up.

I bought this to help keep a blow up pool clean works perfectly. The pin took quite a bit of pressure to put in to put the skimmer together though.
