This jar of Lee Kum Kee's Hoisin sauce, that I purchased, is authentic and came well packaged. The sauce is delicious! You get absolute value for the money you spend on it. The sauce lasts a long time in the refrigerator too, at least its predecessor did. You can use it as a marinade, or in stir fries or curries. It is a versatile sauce.

Flavour was awful. But when cooked tastes like heaven. Watch Sam the cooking guy. He made full chicken with this sauce. Awesome. Tastes sweet and tangy . Fits perfect with chicken.

Goes really well with mushrooms! Hoisin sauce has a sweet taste to it so keep that in mind while adding it to stuff. I mix it with soy sauce and Chings schezwan chutney to get my desired flavour.

Whoโs got the sauce, boss?
The consistency is thick and it has the flavor of artisanal hoisin sauce I make an authentic Vietnamese peanut dipping sauce that is both gluten-free and a consistent favorite of my big American husband. If this sauce has any more versatility I doubt my picky toddler would reject its authenticity. Consistency and versatility when authenticity matter most when eat yummy exotic dishes.

I am new to cooking Asian dishes, but this Hoisin sauce was great. It gave the right amount of sweetness without overdoing it. I love it in my Lo Mein dishes. Will buy again when I need more.

Very good product
I was planning to cook steamed buns and its very convenient that i can order this from amazon. Bec i cannot find this sauce here in japan super markets. Will order again in the future
