Enjoyable project but must pay attention to detail

My daughter and I just started working on building this set. She is 6 years old and has a lot of experience building smaller Lego kits and has been ecstatic to work on this. The pieces are easy for her to assemble, she just needs some direction interpreting the instructions some times. The box that this comes in is literally filled, end-to-end, with pieces. The pieces look and feel high quality and we have not had and issues with fit. We don’t intend to disassemble it once we’re done so durability shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Can’t wait to post the picture of our completed project!

I've done a few engine sets before, but this one.....holy cow! The pros, it's big, and very details. The instructions were very easy to follow and there were no missing pieces. It goes together quite well, no loose pieces and none that are too tight or a struggle to fit together. A nice bonus that isn't shown in the pics on the listing, is that the valve covers on both sides are on a hinge and can be swung open to see the inner workings. The set, once finished, is also surprisingly solid and sturdy, a nice change from other smaller engine sets that I've built. The cons, the only one that I can think of at least, for as impressive as a set as this is, it was disappointing that it didn't include a motor to operate it. To operate it, you turn the large black gear on the back end of it. There is room inside the small section at the rear that could easily fit a motor with some slight modification, so it's sad that one wasn't included, that would've added SO much to this already amazing set. Even without the motor, I'd still give this set a strong positive recommendation for sure.
