1 to 1.5 tsp caro to one mug (usually 12 oz) hot water. Add milk, cream or sugar per your tastes.

Does it stain your teeth?

I drink this beverage only twice or three times a week. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my teeth so far.

What are the calories and carbohydrates of Caro?

A portion consisting of 1.5 teaspoons of Caro and 1/2 cup of water yields 8 calories and 2.8 g of carbohydrates of which 0.1 ar natural sugars. Most drinkers add up to 1/2 cup of milk.

Does this contain gluten?

Caro is made from Barley, Barley malt, and Rye. These grains contain gluten although in significantly smaller amounts than wheat. Gluten is 100% protein. I bake with Rye and add it. Unless you have Celiac, the small amount of gluten in Caro should not bother you.
