I’ve been using the Zest Cocoa Butter & Shea soap bars (the 8-pack of 4.0 oz bars) for a few weeks now, and I can’t imagine going back to anything else. From the very first use, my skin felt noticeably softer and more hydrated – no exaggeration, it’s like the bar is infused with pure luxury. The creamy cocoa butter and shea butter combo really delivers on that “20% more rich moisture” promise; my skin feels deeply nourished, silky smooth, and invigorated without any greasy residue. It’s truly a gentle all-purpose soap – I use it for hands, body, and in the shower, and it lathers beautifully with a rich, creamy foam that cleans thoroughly while leaving everything feeling pampered. The scent is clean, warm, and subtly indulgent (think comforting cocoa with a hint of shea – nothing overpowering, just right to start the day). Best part? No harsh chemicals – it’s paraben-free, phthalate-free, and works perfectly for my sensitive skin. I noticed less dryness, especially in winter, and it doesn’t strip natural oils like some other bars do. Highly recommend grabbing the 8-bar pack – great value. Five stars aren’t enough – this is my go-to soap for life! Highly recommend to anyone wanting soft, smooth, happy skin without breaking the bank.

I’m a lifetime loyalist to Cetaphil Cleansing products and purchased this product in the hopes of getting some moisture into my Dad’s constantly sun- and wind-exposed skin. He’s a bar soap and “whatever is the cheapest is fine” kind of guy. But it just looks painful when Spring arrives and he starts golfing daily— while maybe throwing on some old SPF that’s been in his car for too long. His poor red face! And you can probably guess his reaction to me trying to foist facial products onto him. He “just put some lotion on!” He’s not lying but really? An old mini bottle of perfumed stuff from some hotel that he picked up? 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 So I see a moisturizing bar soap from one of the more drying, but also well known to the recipient, brands (in my past experience) and it’s on sale for a fantastic price. I want to say it wasn’t even a dollar per bar! The soap arrived and it smelled good. Nothing overpowering, just pleasant and clean. Fresh, if that helps. Looked good, had the opaque, milky appearance of a moisturizing bar soap. It truly does smell clean— no overpowering cocoa butter scent. (Sorry! I’m not a fan of that smell.) But I am a fan of this “cheap” “men’s soap”! It has really surprised me- in good ways. Definitely nice for storing in drawers or on shelves to be greeted by clothes that always smell freshly washed. Keep it in the box but open one end is my method, in case anyone decides they’d like to give this a try. And not to worry, while I’ve belabored the smell-good factor, it’s not one that you need to worry about weird scent interactions. Absolutely no interference with body sprays, perfumes, or even a scented lotion. I was intrigued enough to keep a bar for myself and my very sensitive, atopic dermatitis/eczema etc diagnosed- skin has not been negatively impacted. Which is a huge deal! My skin has been made miserable by cleansers that cost ten times the price of this Eight Bar package. (Please know that I use this as a body-only product. My face is just too persnickety for fragrances and anything that might be a great and convenient bargain!) But my Dad’s face really does look like he’s reaping the moisturizing benefits. So, you get clean, you smell clean, you can use it as a closet freshener, you can travel with it and not feel bad for leaving a wet bar behind, and your skin won’t be tight and/or screaming. Whether you’re the daughter of a ‘skin-abuser’ or the one who might be getting a bit too much sun because you love to be outside, it works. Initial Impressions: After years of struggling with dry skin, especially in winter, I decided to try Zest Ultra Moisturizing soap bars. The blue and white packaging promised "ultra moisturizing" care, and I was curious if a bar soap could really deliver. What I Love Most: - Actual Moisture! Unlike most bar soaps that strip my skin, this leaves it soft rather than tight - Rich Lather creates a creamy foam that feels luxurious for a drugstore soap - Fresh Scent is clean and subtle - not overpowering like some moisturizing soaps - Long-Lasting bar holds up well in the shower caddy (doesn't dissolve quickly) - No Residue rinses clean without that waxy feeling some moisturizing soaps leave Caveats: - The bar can get slippery and hard to grip when wet (a soap saver bag helps a lot here) - While moisturizing, I still need lotion after showering in very dry weather - Not as fancy as high-end brands, but at this price point, that's expected I've used this daily for 3 weeks now - my elbows and knees no longer have that rough, dry texture they used to get with regular soap. Compared to the other big box brand such as Dove or Olay bars: - More affordable per ounce - Rinses cleaner than Dove - Less perfumed than Olay For anyone who prefers bar soap but hates that tight, dry feeling afterward, this is great. It's become my everyday soap - gentle enough for daily use but effective enough to actually notice the difference in my skin's texture. One thing u found is that you can keep the bar dry between uses (a draining soap dish helps) to make it last even longer.

First time trying...smells fresh.. a good moisturizing deodorant soap. Good value.

Good soap with light aroma (OK for men.) I feel clean -or at least not smelly- after washing. I have had better moisturizing soaps, but for the price I guess it is good.

Rich lather and a nice moisturizing feel. The cocoa butter and shea leave my skin soft and clean without drying it out. Great everyday bar soap.

I love clean, crisp, smelling zest. I like to try different scents. Eight bars are plenty to share with the other bathrooms with plenty to spare. Nice price too.I use zest on my face and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. This bar soap is old school easy to use is welcome in my house any day.
