I've got a nearly identical Asus 32" monitor. I've used this for about a year now. There are only two caveats and they are minor. The fitting is with elastic bands and one must be careful when moving the monitor not to try to move it by grabbing the hood, as it will then come loose. And, the "window" atop the hood for inserting a monitor photometer through it to rest on the screen takes a lot of effort to open which could slightly dislodge the screen and when closing it, the same applies, so I just gently tape it shut with black gaffers tape instead.
