how do you use this? how do you buy xrp?

This is a physical wallet to store crypto. You will download an app to keep track of how much you own, and also send crypto. You still have to use a crypto exchange to buy xrp, then you send it to this wallet. I would only recommend this wallet for holding the top 10-20 traded crypto coins.

How is this secure when the phrase is exposed on the card. And how do we know that the key or phrase is not stored by the manufacturer or other party?

The BIP38 wallet passphrase is not exposed on the Ballet wallet. It is fully concealed by tamper-evident scratch-off material. The encrypted private key is not exposed on the Ballet wallet. It is fully concealed by a tamper-evident two-layer sticker. As a manufacturer of these ready-to-use wallets which require no setup, we assure our users that these encrypted private keys and passphrases are not stored and retained during the manufacturing process. What happens if you lose this thing?

If you lose the wallet (which physically contains the Encrypted Private Key and Passphrase), you lose access to your coins, so you lose your coins. As per written on the backside of all our cards: Treat this card as cash. DO NOT LOSE IT. So the card is a bearer asset like gold or cash.

All Ballet REAL Series Cold Storage Cards support the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ERC-20 token. The full list of supported cryptocurrencies and tokens can be found at: https://www.ballet.com/en/coins Any ERC-20 or BEP-20 tokens not on the list of supported tokens can be manually added to your REAL Series Cold Storage Card using the Ballet Crypto app.

使っている人を見ないので安全性など実際どうなのか不安だったが、しっかり新品未使用で届き、ステンレス鋼なので作りがしっかりしてよっぽどでないと破損しないだろうと感じた。セットアップは専用のアプリでQRコードを読み込ませるだけですぐ使えて、取引所との入出金も4、5分で完了した。アプリも日本語に対応していたので迷うことはなかった。また別の紙などに秘密鍵をメモしておく必要がないので、かなり使い勝手がいいと思った。

100%オフラインのコールドストレージと言う事で購入をしましたが、『一度ウォレットから送金をしたら、本カードは既に取引に使用されており、秘密鍵の一部が流失している可能性があります...これ以上資産を送らないようにおすすめします』この様なメッセージが出るので保管のみの使用が良いのかと思うが、１度のテスト送金も出来ない事になる。尚、Amazonを通して質問をしているが未だに返答はない。

These wallets are really cool. A great way to store your private keys! They have a great look and feel to them and come with a clear plastic case. The gold plated versions arrive in a very nice block of clear Lucite for display. It adds a really nice touch, worthy the value of the asset! The app is super easy to use. Transferring crypto in from other wallets or exchanges is a breeze. The company is adding the ability to purchase crypto directly through the app. It's a new feature may require some patience. I had some technical issues with the services they've partnered with for buying crypto but the Ballet customer support was responsive and released an update for the app in a couple days that resolved the issue. Overall, I love these wallets and I think Ballet is dedicated to providing a great product and experience. I've been showing them off to my crypto friends and I'll also use them to encourage others to join the crypto space! Nice job Ballet! Keep it up!
