Beautiful lamp! I purchased it for a friend, but I checked to see if it was correct and working before gifting. It was super easy to put together and already came mostly charged. The 3D print is very nice, although it's definitely much better looking lit up. I wouldn't say it's super durable, but I'm sure it could take a few minor falls. My favorite color is actually the white, but the other colors are very beautiful. It goes perfect in my friend's space-themed room. Pictures do not do this product justice, and it weirdly photographs/videos with weird lines though the item itself does not cause line lights in real life, so don't be alarmed by any photos that have the flickering lines. I'm not sure about the battery life or any other longtime issues that may occur because it is only a week old and no longer in my possession. I purchased the 5.98 size and I really find it to be the perfect size to sit on a nightstand or desk. It's just big enough to cup in your hand but not too big where you'd need two hands to hold it. The remote and touch pad (on the moon) are easy to use and are very cool! You don't need both to change the color or setting of the lamp. It comes with easy to understand instructions, the stand pegs, a remote, a small charger (no outlet charger as the product states; it is a USB charger, but you can hook it up to any cell phone charger box to connect it to an outlet), and a string to hang it (though we did not use that).

I purchased three of these 3D printed moons (the 6-inch size) for a hanging decorative element in my home. They work exactly as advertised and look sufficiently moon-like. I expected the color-changing light options to be gimmicky, but they're actually pretty cool. I originally had a problem charging these moons, as they didn't appear to hold a charge after their first use. I wasn't charging them properly, and the manufacturer reached out and walked me through the charging process which is totally simple (but easy to overlook). If you're looking for geographically-accurate and detailed moons, any 3D printed product probably isn't sufficient. But if you're looking for an interesting moon-effect light, these are rock solid. I'm very happy with the purchase and the support from the manufacturer.

I got this moon lamp on a whim and I absolutely love it. It is bright enough to light up a room (think seeing what you are doing, not reading a book) and looks incredible while shifting through the various colors. I have not yet used the battery feature as I keep it plugged in all the time (the ability to do so was a big selling point). The remote is very responsive and has sufficient range anywhere in the room. The timer feature is nice too as it allows you to shut it off after a period of time. The only minor quib I have is it does not have white as one of the colors when scrolling though the colors. Not a big deal but the white looks really nice and I would like to see it as part of the pallet. As I have only had this moon lamp a short time, I cannot speak to durability. I can only hope it lasts for many years. Hopefully the company will come out with other "planets" in the future!

Item is defective! I bought this for my 8 year old for Christmas and had to return it c it wouldn’t charge. They sent a replacement one and it also won’t charge. My son is very disappointed as am I bc it’s a great concept and now we need to find something just as cool to replace it with. ***UPDATE 3/1/2019*** The company immediately reached out to me after I left my previous one star review and sent out a replacement globe. I find their customer service to be excellent. They also sent a larger replacement than we had previously had. Upon arrival I immediately used it’s initial charge. We got about 3.5 hours out of it initially. I then read the directions and charged according to them exactly. There is an internal red light on when charging. It said to charge no more than 2 hours. Just make sure the button on the bottom of the glove is pushed in to charge. The red light went out after about 1.5 hours so I immediately unplugged it. When I tried the product it worked! Better than the last two globes we owned that would not recharge after its first use. I made sure to tell my son (8yo) to let me know when it needs recharged so I can make sure it’s done correctly. I gave them a new 4 star review based on customer service and the fact that this product did work. I had to leave once star off bc of the previous globes that did not work and the fact I have to make sure it’s charged just right. The company did indicate that they changed some things to help resolve the issues I and others had had with charging. If I have any issues I will come back to update. Overall, I’m very satisfied with how this was handled and my son was happy to have his night light back.

I got the 5" diameter and was worried it would be too small but it's a great size! I've always wanted a moon lamp like this and having a remote and extra color features really made me go ahead and buy one. It's bright enough to cast a soft glow in the room and the stand is easy to put together and doesn't look cheap. During the day the moon part does look a little plastic but it's not so much that it would deter me from buying it. The charge lasts a good amount of time but not as long as I'd prefer but since it does charge and not use batteries I'm not upset about it. It also comes with a string if you'd like to hang it up. Overall a great addition to a room and worth the buy!

I'm not great at visualizing actual size by measurements with this kind of thing, but I was happy to find out that this little moon was a very decent size. The range of colors is really cool (though the white is my favorite) and the remote is really easy to use. It comes with a really nice looking stand if you want to display it on a table or shelf, but also comes with sturdy string to hang it from the ceiling as an alternative. I have yet to use the timer function so I'm not really sure how well that works, but I'm really satisfied with the quality overall.

I remember seeing something like this listed for over $50 a little while ago. I wanted one so badly because I'm obsessed with the moon and thought it would be a beautiful thing to have as a night light, but I'm cheap and didn't want to spend that much for something so small. Well, here came this listing and OMG I love it! I love how many colors you have control over and the fade function is my favorite to use. It's real easy to set up; you just have to charge it with the provided USB charger. The remote works as soon as the moon is removed from the charger and AHH it's so cool! It can really set the mood for whatever you're going for. I enjoy the detail on the actual moon; all the bumps and grooves add to the realism while the colors make it fun and interesting. Or you can have a "moon-color" warm or white light too. I am so happy with this purchase!

Both my sons have one in their rooms and they turn it on every night. Lights when out due to a storm but their moons were still glowing bright because they’re chargeable. Great night light for kids.

The remote and string was missing, so returned. I had ordered others and they were far lesser in size than told but this one has correct size (5.9 inches). mentioned. Didnt check the functionality, as there was no remote and hence immediately ordered the return - which was prompt in pick up as well as refund.

There was no mention of Onpoint brand. The packaging box of lamp was broken, the lamp itself looked dirty and had scratches, there was no covering over it. The remote had cracks on the backside and top, returned immediately. Also, the page mentioned there would be a hook and string, but there were none.

Totally disappointed that i got the moon lamp, it's stand and USB only, both the times I ordered it. The remote, hook, user manual and string were not there. It was for my kids birthday but he was so upset dat he didn't get what v actually ordered.
