does this need a SIM card?

The actual device (Laptop) should have a sim slot somewhere, This only provides radio capabilities so technically, it does need a sim card

Will this work on a Dell Latitiude D630 laptop?

There is software for XP and Vista but I am not sure if there is any for Windows 10 and if it is anything like the rest of Dells Parts System you can not really tell until you get it and try to find software and drivers for it. They could not tell me what the correct card was for an XPS 12 or a Precision M4800 laptop

Will this work with T-Mobile's network?

I’m thinking yes as: a) T-Mobile uses GSM like AT&T does, and I use this card a lot on AT&T b) I’ve used this card with a SIM from Ting, a prepaid network that uses T-Mobile airtime and it worked fine. Bear in mind the only way to know for sure is to try it, but you can make that gamble for half the price elsewhere, There are lots of sellers of this DW5804 card on eb*y for $15 so that’s what I’d suggest. Have used this card in a Dell 6230 and 6330 and am very impressed with it

works with the dell latitude e6440?

I tried this with a few different dell laptops and couldn’t find drivers. I’m guessing it would work fine in any computer of the drivers are available. If anyone finds the drivers please post a link
