Stupidly used brown paperbag to pop popcorn. It caught fire and burned the insulator cover. Thought I would have to purchase a new microwave. I measured the burned cover and purchased these. It fits perfectly. Easy to install. The microwave works perfectly now.

Tried using it for a nichrome wire set up because of it's heat resistance and relatively stable qualities. Didn't work as well as I anticipated, and probably should've used more rigid supports. As for use in a microwave, seems to do it's job. Pretty cheap too, so I'd say a nice purchase for those who need it.

Perfect fit for our microwave to replace the broken waveguide cover. It was easy to install and works perfectly with no issues so far, plus it’s great to have a spare for future.

Received on time. One unit was deeply scratched and I don't trust it. The other was OK and worked in my microwave.

Someone gave me a microwave popcorn popper & the 1st time I used it, my microwave started making a horrible noise. I checked all the instructions, the popper itself, repositioned it & tried again. No problem the 2nd time. I used it a few times without issue after that. Then, last night (22 Dec), just as I started to make popcorn, I heard that awful noise once again AND I also saw some sparks! Yikes. I investigated & saw that a small side panel was fried. After a little research, I learned my MW was "Arching". But I also learned that the panel, called a "Waveguard", was replaceable. *Whew*. I took out the fried guard, measured it and purchased these. As I was waiting for delivery (1 day), I was looking at microwaves & thinking how I'd rather buy some expensive perfume instead of replacing a MW. I recieved the Waveguards quickly and replaced the old one, which was quick and easy to install. Just tested the MW and all is well; no unwanted epense necessary for now! I won't be using the popper again, as that was the only time I had an issue. Idk why, & there was nothing in the instructions about size limitations, but my guess is that the popper is too tall and big for my MW, obstructing the wave flow or something. Crisis averted with the best $5.50 spent!
