Can i just get the jacks without the power unit as trailer already has unit for other aplications and dont want to add any more weight than needed.

No, The Hydraulic jacks do not have manual drop legs.

can you use this to stabilize a trailer when loading and unloading?

You can use as a stabilizer as long as you don't get carried away with what is going on. Always use proper tire chocks and parking brakes, if the trailer moves while loading with the Jacks DOWN there is a strong possibility of damage to the jacks and the trailer structure. If you are not experienced DON'T try it.

customer service is the best

Pump was of a new design and looked small. I had issues with hooking pump up. I could find nothing on the pump specks. It did not function as it should, it seemed weak. But the owner called me quickly and got the hook up info I needed to correct it. I got what I needed to get it up and running as it should. Thanks for the quick response I am on the road again!
