It does what it says it does
Works perfectly. I use it to determine whether or not a guitar has stainless steel frets. It turns pink when it comes in contact with nickel. It takes a few seconds to use and it has been 100% accurate so far.

Doesn’t work, don’t waste your money
Doesn’t work. The smell is truly like a strong acetone, it made my eyes water. Which honestly I’d put up with the smell if it worked. But it didn’t. Idk why it worked for others and not me. I put it on a q-tip and then rubbed it just like the instructions on the bottle said. I tried it on several parties of earrings, necklaces and even stainless steel appliances. Apparently stainless steel appliances have a nigh nickel content. Nothing worked and I tried every stainless steel thing I could find in my home. Nothing made it react. It’s frustrating because I have developed a new allergy to my earrings and I don’t know why or what’s causing it but I was thinking it was the nickel since it’s the most common.
