I love model toys. I am impressed with this one. Initially bought as a gift but after playing with it, I decided to keep. I have used this only as an indoor toy and pretty happy with the performance. The controller has all the actions you are looking for. Nice moderate speed when playing. easy to use but makes your heart filled with happy and joy. A great gift item. the sounds are very realistic. Highly recommend as a good gift.

A little smaller than I imagined but it works great and my niece loves it so much. The details and quality was very nice too.

Got it for a Christmas present for autistic little boy who just loves heavy equipment his eyes got real big when he opened it up on Christmas Day

My 5 year old used his Christmas money to get this remote control excavator. He is quite hard on toys so I was hesitant to let him spend $30 on it. I’m happy to say that after a couple months it’s holding up well. That said, here is why I gave it 4 stars: • The rechargeable battery is not convenient. You have to unscrew the compartment and remove the battery which clips into the other wires. I can see this breaking easily if not handled with care. • There is no volume control. • The tracks slip off, not super often, but often enough to be annoying. Overall we are pleased with the purchase as my son loves it.

Got this for my Grandsons upcoming birthday, he loves excuvators. The remote uses regular AA batteries and the excuvator uses a rechargeable battery, which you get a spare. The remotes battery goes into a compartment that the cover just pops off but on the excuvator must remove a screw in the cover. This is the only downsize to this toy. The remote works well and the excuvator responds appropriately to the commands Very real like, kids will like.
