Easy to install
I bought this for my HP 15-dw1083wm, and the size was exactly right. I had never changed a laptop battery before, so I looked up a guide online and did it in less than 15 minutes. Once you pop open the case, you basically just remove the screws holding in the old battery and replace it with the new battery. This battery fit well, but didn't sit quite as flush as the old battery. The screws went in just fine, and there were no complications. After the new battery was in and the laptop case back on, I turned the laptop on, and it started with no issues. There was no configuration needed. It just worked! It's been about three weeks since then, and I haven't had any issues with the new battery. It holds a charge, and the battery lasts longer than the old one. It also charges at a decent rate. Definitely an improvement over what was in there. I would've changed out the battery sooner had I known how easy the process would be. Also, I like that the tools are included with the new battery. Definitely hanging on to those for any future repairs! Update: I started having issues with my laptop dying on me when the battery percentage got low. My son suggested it was the energy saver feature on my laptop not playing nice with the new battery. He was right! I turned the energy saver off, and now the laptop doesn't shut off at low battery percentages. Just an FYI for anyone who might run into that.

Reliable Replacement Battery for My ThinkPad – Great Value!
I bought this Replacement Laptop Battery for my Lenovo ThinkPad, and overall, it has been a solid purchase. The battery fit perfectly and was easy to install. Right out of the box, it held a decent charge, and after a few cycles, it reached its full capacity. The battery life is good—not quite as long-lasting as the original, but it gets the job done for everyday use. I can get around 3-4 hours on a full charge, depending on what I’m doing. For the price, I think it’s a great alternative to an expensive OEM battery. My only minor complaint is that it took a little longer to fully charge compared to my previous battery. Other than that, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a budget-friendly replacement.

So far, so good
I've only had this battery pack for a couple of weeks. It was purchased to breathe life into an old HP laptop. The old battery wouldn't hold a charge and the laptop got a bit wonky running only on the AC power supply. This isn't for a new laptop. The one we have is probably 7 or 8 years old and is no longer our first computer. Most of my work is done on a relatively new desktop and this laptop was being repurposed into something I can take on the road when I travel. I'm retired, so state of the art isn't necessary. All that said, this battery pack arrived, got plugged in to the laptop with about a 60% charge showing. Within a couple of hours on the power supply, it showed 100%. Since then I've cycled the battery a couple of times and it seems to hold a charge at least as well as the original pack did in its heyday. There's not a lot else to say. These things aren't sexy and they aren't going to turn an old laptop into a speed demon, but in my case, this battery pack is keeping and old reliable machine in use well beyond what was expected of it. It will keep my laptop useful for checking email and surfing the web and a few light apps when I'm on the road for hopefully another 3 or 4 years. For the price, it was well worth it!

It works well enough.
The battery seems to work alright but it is also seems that it's plagues like the rest of the 3rd party batteries. It doesn't last long and the mAh and wattage hours are alot smaller that whan is stated. The parts it came was a nice gesture but the screwdriver started to strip screws right away. Not at fault but it is a cheap driver. The plastic spudger worked great. Let's see how long the battery holds up. :) it's not the best but still worth it for the price and to get your laptop back up and going.

It charged, and it worked. So far...
It's an aftermarket battery. Which means that I will always have reservations about the long term quality. I am a computer repair tech and use aftermarket batteries frequently when OEM is not available or too costly. Here's my breakdown for my ratings. Battery Life: It charged and seems to last hours on a full charge after properly initialized. How long will it last, or how many recharge cycles? Who knows. I don't expect any of these to last as long as the OEM, but they are a fraction of the cost, and your computer is likely really old anyway. So it's more of a question about how long do you need it to work for the money? I do recommend following the initial discharge/charge cycle directions. It does make a difference. I would also recommend that you do not leave your computer plugged in to AC power 100% of the time. Pull the plug once in a while and use the battery for what it is designed for. Maybe just once a month. Run it down, then fully charge. The rest of the time, charge it how you want. But I find leaving it plugged in all the time will destroy the battery life. Ease of install: That depends on your laptop. I found it easy, but I'm an expert. If you haven't done it before, check for a YouTube disassembly video for your specific model computer first. Be familiar with where to find all the screws (some may be hidden), and how the case separates. Take your time, most of it is held together with plastic clips that are easily broken. Value for the money: Varies. In my experience, following my recommendations for discharge and recharge, most aftermarket batteries will last 1 to 2 years. This might be less than the life of an OEM battery. But most batteries will degrade after 2 years anyway. Assuming that your computer may already be several years old since you are replacing the battery, then I would find this addition of potentially a couple years life to be great. After that, you should probably get a new computer anyway.
