Lustau Los Arcos Dry Amontillado Sherry, 75 cl

This is basically what every dry, aromatic tawny-coloured sherry aspires to be. Perfectly balanced, rich, and with just the right amount of dryness on the back end. This is really nice on its own if you like a dry sherry, and also perfect in cocktails, sauces and as an addition to things like apple sauce etc. I would find it hard to justify buying another dry sherry, even if it was a little cheaper. As an ex-chef, I would say this is perfect if you want to try cooking with it, and have only tried Cockburn's (hur hur hur) or similar previously

I know that it's a dry sherry but my first impression is that it tastes sour, like something that's off. I definitely won't be ordering it again. I'm trying to like it since I have a whole bottle but I have been serving it to visitors, friends and family. It's an acquired taste that I just don't have.

ルスタウは日本のスペインバルでは結構メジャーなシェリー。外人さんのレビュー通り、結構酸味が強く有名な割には初心者向けではない味。ワインのフルボディが好きな方は気に入るかもしれません。個人的には結構好きなシェリーではあります。
