Very good bin ...read this
I've had the large bin for two years now.....I've changed the batterys three times....if you use the heavier shiny bags it pulls out of bin easier but may be some people are filling it up and pushing rubbish down, then it might get jammed. Never had a problem getting bag out. If people push the lid down before it closes its self that's may be why the lid gets broken. The lid has just broken now but I saw my relatives pushing the lid shut last month and I think it put a strain on wee plastic cog that opens the bin up and down....I'll be buying another one...also the metal is not flimsy in any way....so I don't know why some reviews are talking about that....anyway another one ordered now...

Smart sensor bin great size for a family home
I recently purchased this sensor lid bin, and so far, it has been an okay addition to my kitchen! The size is fantastic, providing ample space for waste without taking up too much room. I do want to note that it operates on 4 AA batteries, which is something to keep in mind for ongoing maintenance. The sensor feature is quite convenient; it senses your hand and opens automatically, making it easy to use while cooking or cleaning. I appreciate the hands-free functionality, especially in a busy household. As for durability, I’m hopeful it will hold up well over time, given the daily use it will likely see. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a functional and space-efficient bin!

Love it
Firstly I had no intention of buying a “sensor bin” before I bought this. I bought it because it was the size and colour I wanted, not because it was automatic opening. That said I absolutely love it now, I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good it’s worked fine and has an excellent holding capacity. Now that I’ve had an automatic opener I am now converted to them :-)

Excellent bin
Large capacity yet very neat. Didn't realise I needed a no touch bin but I do now! Works really well, no issues at all. Highly recommend.

Good quality and capacity
It took me ages to find a bin with a capacity above 50 L so this is great.

Great value LARGE (68 Litre) - auto opening bin.
Looking around for automatic (auto opening / closing) bins.. you can pay A LOT for one of these... Typically starting at the £75 range.. this is fantastic value at below £50. Crazily you can spend up to £180 on a "designer" one with slimline 70's style "turned" legs which looks like a high end telly.. (why someone would lash out £180 quid on a bin is anyones guess.. but there's a good chance they don't have kids with sticky fingers, or in fact, any real rubbish to throw away at all). Buy this, and recognise that you don't need to spend a fortune on a utilitarian item such as a bin.
