BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner Power Enhancer with Funnel

Got a couple of old (20+ years old) Land Rovers, and they don’t spend enough time in the shop getting routine maintenance unfortunately. This fuel system cleaner was recommended by other owners in my off-road club, and it's worked a treat in both my trucks. Better gas mileage isn't my goal with this product; I'm just trying to keep things less “gunky” so the vehicles run better, and there's an immediate difference in smoother starts and acceleration. I usually use one can a year since my Rovers are getting minimal miles these days, just leisure vehicles. Top of the can has a pull top, but it's super-tight and I find it tough to get going (I hate to break a fingernail!). Keep something on hand to help pry it open, and peel back slowly or you'll end up with this liquid all over.

I recommend this to anyone who drives a car. So far this stuff is the best fuel cleaner I have used and I've been driving for over 40 years. If your car is hard to start, runs rough, Idles poorly, or accelerates poorly try this first. Before this product was sold to average individuals, professional mechanics used to use this as one of their tools to help tune your car. Cars have become so complicated that it's hard to work on them yourself but this is one of the tools an individual can use. I put this in all my cars, Honda Subaru Saturn and Ford Ranger. In my Ranger alone I had not changed the spark plugs in 11 years and mechanic told me plugs were pretty clean, he didn't know I had not changed them in over 11 years. Do Not Buy Cheap Fuel Cleaner, repeat Do Not Buy Cheap Fuel Cleaner buy this one. The cheap stuff loosens the sediment in your fuel tank but does not break it down so then it plugs up or clogs your fuel filter and makes it hard for you car to start or not start at all. Buy a can of this put it in a full tank of gas, take the car on the highway, take it up to at least 65 mph for about 20 to 30 minutes so as to blow out all the sediment in your gas tank and the intake of your engine. After about 2 to 3 days you'll see the difference, if you do not notice a difference and your car is still running poorly then I would take it to a mechanic or get and OBD2 Reader to see what's wrong with your car. At first, I was skeptical of this product simply because I was always skeptical of fuel treatment products. But let me tell you, this was the best item I've purchased for a vehicle and it has already paid for itself. My 06 Scion TC was getting around 20 mpg, so I gave in and purchased this item. I immediately felt a difference in performance almost lIke it was a new car. And after the first tank, I was getting 28 mpg...8mpg more than before. Like I said an awesome product. Even now after 8 tank fulls, I am still getting average 26 mpg and performance is still great. I plan on using this product every few months now.

Tests have shown that BG44K and Techron are two of the most effective fuel system cleaners on the market. The simple addition of this cap less fuel tank funnel makes this super convenient

4 stars because I am not convinced it is any better than B-12 Chemtool or Seafoam, which are both a fraction of the price. Also, the design of the can is not great, but it is made up for by the exact fit of the funnel.

Easy to just pour into the tank and prior to using this my car (a 2015 model vehicle) would only give me about 260 miles per tank. After using this twice my mileage per tank jumped to 330 miles. Car idles better as well.

There is nothing comparable in the market to this cleansing solution for the carbon buildup in the ingnition system of your vehicle.

Used this product in 3 different vehicles seemed to work just fine I would recommend.The hardest part is opening the can & pouring it in the tank before a complete fill up.
